You must cut the pointy black thing that is attached to your coverset.. the one that you screw with the old lamp..

its really easy.. B4 i got my lc, i have never even once mod my bikes. I dun even try to disassemble my cover set.. This cbr lamp is very easy to assemble.. U only have to rewire n cut a lil bit of section in ur rear fender.. Mechanic wanted to charge rm30 so i tried myself.. Really ez n saves...
