Maybe he based his opinion by using the following theory. Two-stroke engine, one power stroke for every engine revolution while four-stroke one power stroke for every two engine revolution. So, to match the power output of two-stroke bike, he doubled the four-stroke engine displacement.

I wonder, how true is this theory? anyone with more experience and knowledge care to explain?

Hello dehanz, yes i think he made that easy calculations, but it doesnt work like that in the real life :) I guess i have both experience and knowledge, i can explain the easy or hard way :)

And Rooster i will not guess that high, maybe 1,5, but remember the fuel consumtion is about 2 times higher too on the 2 stroke :(

And what piss me off most of all is that peoples fill to much oil on the 2 strokes so it looks like their on fire and its smell, too much oil is not better, remember that 2 strokes riders

Ok i try to explain about 2 vs 4 stroke.

1 stroke is equal to 180degree or the way piston move until it return EX. from top to bottom.

So the two stroker does all his working cycles in 2 stroke EX from top to bottom an back again, in this 2 cycles it must: fill gasoline and air mix,get rid of the exhaust and do the compression and fire.
Here comes the problem, not all of the exhaust will be pushed out so the air and gasoline mix will contain exhaust so the explotion will be weaker.

In a 4 stroke this is not an problem since 1 stroke is only for this purpose(get rid of the exhaust) so it will have about 100% air and fuel mix to explode. But since the 2 stroke have 2 working cycles at the same time as the 4 stroker do 1, the 2 stroker are more powerfull.

You get it???

u know what? even in motoGP race before,the 900cc 4-stroke is used to beat the 500cc 2-stroke during the first era of 900cc of motoGP before,so i quite agree with dude_pare,hey thats simple explanation anyone know about it,u cant just disagree with paople's opinion here,we here are share opinions and thoughts not to fight or to show off that u are better than anyone here,remember this forum lets us join to "SHARE OPINIONS AND IDEAS" ok? so definitely 2-stroker have lots of advantages if compare to 4-stroke engines,if u really knows deep about it,tell me what the degrees of the valve during its cycles,on which degrees of the connecting rod the rocker arm pushes the valve??? how mili seconds each cycle happen??? what happen to piston rings during BDC and TDC??? how does it affects if u use 2piston rings instead of 3piston rings??? how does 'free gap' affects all the cycle of the stroke?? remember,we here to share ideas....peace...

hey rudduan i have one answer for one of your questions if u use 2 piston rings (here we use 1) the 2strokes are going insane :p but they dont last long in a few days the piston will stuck :)

Diverting back to the topic, which is on how to modify this 135LC to match 125z and rxz. Assuming this is street tune, bigger displacement is the way to go. Bigger valves with custom camshaft to suit the increase displacement. Highest engine compression ratio possible on your local gas pump.

i think the better way is to bore up our engine,then put lots of racing parts,maybe then we can match them

the point is that a modified Z is unmatchable by any bike :D
200cc and it can beat every modified 200cc 2stroke and 4stroke

Long time no see u all, my frens.. My LC won race with SS2, RXZ and Suzuki RG last week. But someone else use my bike.

Lor as i knew 125z,Rxz,Rg at Borneo is slower than the same bike at Peninsular Malaysia..Done be to proud Mat
