hye guys..im new here..wanna ask u guys abou this...i have my bike service about 2k..is it ok??my oil turn dark greenish black...ehhmmmm...n our bike use only 800ml rite??so it has 200ml extra??ok..is it can,i add the 200ml from a differ type of oil untill it reach 800ml n i use it???can i??

I think he's asking on the fill up on oil, the requirement is 800ml but the oil tank holds 1000ml he's asking if he can just fill up the oil tank to the max?? am i right bro?

the answer, No. it's recommended for only 800ml. if you over fill it may begin to burn in your engine. I also recommend changing your oil every 1k to 1.5k. i know it gets expensive, but verry black oil is not good for our engine. i did a test with my engine i ran it for 2k and then changed the oil and plug, i found oil and carbon on the plug. now i do my oil every 1 k and i don't have that problem anymore.

to bro goff..sory..not like that bro..how i will describe it to u all???ermm..yes we only use 800ml of oil..right???but when we buy a new bottle of oil,it`s 1000ml right???so i pour into my engine..n it has 200ml left..so this 200ml of oil,from a DIFFERENT type n visiocity,i keep n when it reach 800ml,so i use it..can right??it doesn`t suffer the engine much right??

don't over fill the oil. if it says 800ml thats all you put in. don't try to stuff more oil in your crank case. save the remaining 200ml of oil for the next time you need it on an oil change. try to use the same oil all the time.then you don't have to worry about different viscosity

try to get it changed every 1000 kms. as what goff has said. coz it may be expensive but atleast it would really save you engine from being damaged. ride safe.

maybe u should try motul 5100, or LYNX,or Royal Purple, just ask someone here who ever tried one of the brands,now i am using LYNX, quite good....

Wow bros. Change EO every 1K? :cry: I'm using Silkolene Pro 4 15w50 and only change every 3K. Will it harm my engine then? The service manual also state every 3K. Please advice.

Sometimes, I do go long distance like twice a month. I used Motul 5100 (Semi Synthetic) for my 1st service and from my 2nd service onwards been using Silkolene Pro 4 (Fully Synthetic).

Even some other forummers from a local LC forum suggested 3K EO & OF change thats why I'm confused now.

actually his bike is one of the first 100 135 at m'sia.. 1st gen 135.

for me, the best as per our discussion in this forum.... depnds on EO used...
