i think better let it 'on' itself rather than put switch to 'on' the fan, save time, save cost, save battery heheheheheh <------(lazy)

I don't agree with the idea that is cooler is better. The thermostat will switch on and off the fan to maintain the engines temperature at the 'correct' operating temperature without overheating. Meaning that at 'correct' operating temperature, the engine produce maximum power by compromising reliability and fuel consumption. Heat transfer anyone? So modding the thermostat is not such a good idea unless you have a good reason for that. Which is what?

No argue on that Dehanz.
Some guys change the thermostat not in purpose of make it cool becoz even the most extreme cooler wont do, but just wanna be certain if the fans is worked :)
Me, I just leave it to normal system and have faith on it ha ha.

the best way is to cut the termostat spring.that for the quick cooling.same with the car engine.

the termostat has a lifetime.maybe 6-7 years it will stop working.then you will see the engine can be extremely hot.
Hey Bro,how do we cut the thermostat spring? I really tink itz better ur way coz the thermostat is really slow in sensoring heat.. Hmm,mayb a step by step guide on how to do it? Where it is located and every
tink...Tanx! Cheers!
thermostat activation cannot be changed unless you changed the thermostat device itself. which i think its very hard to find one.

i think the thermostat activation of our bike has less temperature needed to activate than thermostat installed in cars.

you can install a bypass switch for it to activate bro.
with the bypass switch, you can do the ff
- automatic on when it needs
- manual on if you want

so with the bypass switch, you dont have to worry that you forgot
to turn on your fan because the automatic on of fan is still working.

its easy to do bro

it is easy by cutting the termostat spring.dont cut it to many, just cut it a little.this is for the termostat easy to open when the water become hot.

for more info, just ask a car mechanic to do it.they got many expirience cause all car are using water cooling system.

bro there are two wires going to the thermostat.
try to disconnect the wires from the thermostat and
short circuit or short it out, it should turn on the fan.
(havent tried this but this should work)

with that, you can test that the fan is working.

if you want to have a manual overide of your fan, you can connect
wires from it to a switch.
when you turn on the switch, it will short circuit the two wires
thus turning on the fan manually.

if you turn off the switch, the fan will still function automatically.
because the thermostat will short circuit the wires for you.

I did it to my car as the thermostat a bit late. Put switch and pilot lamp on the dashboard. easy.
But sure we might shorten the fan's lifetime.

Are you guys refering thermostat as thermosensor?

If you want install manual on/off switch go to wiring diagram refer to item 14(fan motor relay) disconnect wiring Br and L. Put a switch in between and you can ON/Off fan manually
I have not tried this but it will work.
