mas colder plug ata ang 27 paps...not sure
ahh ok,pagcold pangit yata sa motor,

A "cold plug" has a shorter insulator nose, which minimizes the amount of surface area exposed to the combustion gases. Cold plugs are typically used in racing conditions because of its ability to transfer heat out of the cylinder chamber quickly. Most turbo, supercharged and nitrous oxide applications use this type of plug because of the tremendous heat they generate. A colder plug can also minimize the risk of pre-ignition and detonation, however if the plug is to cold there is risk of fouling during extended periods of idling and low-speed operation.

A "hot plug" has a long insulator nose which exposes more surface area to the combustion gases. This keeps the plug temperature higher overall which is ideal for stop-start city driving conditions.

Part of your spark plug’s responsibilities, in addition to firing a spark, is to remove heat from the combustion chamber. This is accomplished by channeling the heat through the insulator material and metal housing. From there, the heat is transferred to the cylinder head where the engine cooling system can go to work. A spark plug’s heat range is its ability to dissipate heat. The “colder” the plug, the more heat it can channel out of the combustion chamber. In a performance application, colder heat ranges may be necessary to handle the extreme temperatures brought on by higher compression ratios, forced induction, and high RPM’s. While “Colder” plugs may seem to be the way to go, please remember that the spark plug must achieve its “self-cleaning” temperature where it can burn off fuel and carbon deposits. Otherwise, the plug could “foul out” where it is prone to misfiring and poor acceleration. A plug that is too “hot” can overheat, also causing power loss, detonation, pre-ignition, and possible engine damage.

At high speeds, IUF24 performed the best, but IUF27 was the best at low speeds. These results can be attributed to the fact that the electrode shape of IUF24 is different to that of IUF27

paps follow up question, NGK G-power. ok ba yun sa long ride and daily use?.. hehehe, pasensya na sa tanong ko.

ok lang pafs kc platinum naman un. more on starting and fuel efficiency kc un. mas matipid daw sa gasolina sabi mga user pafs. pero best recommended irridium kc 8 times more heat resistance kesa sa platinum... mas cool ang engine. sa topspeed parang wala naman pinagkaiba sa irridium...

additional pafs, when driving on a long distance, low speed riding is not advisable... continous low speed driving causes carbon fouling... so when on a kilometer trip, do some racing racing hehe
