Nice info dude.
Yeah, I've been using car engine oil for more than 1 year on EX5 and 135LC. They are working very well. We just need to watch out for super low rating oil (5W-30 and below) which may have "friction modifier" element in it. This will cause our clutch to slip at high rpm.

Though I have my preferences in choosing oil for the bike, but, in general will just do it in an easy way just like what the article said.
We should definitely pay more attention if we tend to abuse the bike for speeding or racing. But for regular riding like mine, most common oil wont harm the engine, I think. :) :)

I am using full synthetic for a few years, because always rev the engine pretty high. Actually oil specially make for bike isn't special at all (refer to Mas's posted link). They are just overpriced oil to cheat us bikers.

Using full synthetic not only gives higher mileage, but also reduce the engine wear significantly during cold start ;)
