Then start any small piece of bike things at a time.
One day u can even overhaul the engine urself with minor assistance.
Trust me, he he u gonna love it :) :)

yeah like what im doing now..eventhough im kinda stupid in this opening engine..i can now do sum minor 1

if u really want to know to do engine works,go find friend or elder that really knows deep about the engine to teach u,make sure they always thrash talking to you,mocking u,humiliate u,sometime give u a good punch at your face,trust me,ive learnt this way and its damn good,i can do all engine works myself....but make sure u have strong mind and body.. :)

yeah..im kinda shy u know to ask this thing...i know it would be a good thing..but when they humiliate u..hmm...gotta stand the pain

why don't you watch your brother in law to see whats being done. then you can learn it. i didn't know how to do it on my bike, but i just followed the manual on the location of the parts that need to be taken off for the change of oil and filter.

well thats what im doing sometimes i go at his mc store(dont know how its called) and watch him repair modifie bikes but i havent seen any oil change till now so dont know how to do it :)..a friend of mine showed me yesterday and im going to change them today ...rudduan my broinlaw is that kind of person lots of thrash talkies :p but he is good mechanic too :)

He he someday you will find the bike is not only as your ride, but also your toy and keep doing things with it :)

now u get me cryp,the person who always thrash talk is always full of knowledge about mechanical things...agree with me??but their heart are good...its just business(trump's words...)hehehehe

i use castrol power 1 racing 10W-40...cause since my bike is still new...full syn oil can unleash full potential of the engine

john u have righti changed the oils and now my bike has GREAT performance
i can do power wheelies more easily :D

hey rudduan can explain what is the meaning of full synthetic and half synthetic ..which better...any1??

FULL SYNTHETIC is oil made from SYNTHETIC MOLECULES that are made in labs...these full syn oil is lighter,more durable and can unleash your bike's performance if it's new...HOWEVER...if u use the full syn on older bikes that have wears n tears in the engine the full syn will be consumed very quickly...so...it's suitable only for new engines that's still TIGHT!!!

SEMI-SYNTHETIC is oil that combines blends of SYNTHETIC BASE and MINERAL BASE materials...it has medium viscosity and is considerably durable for normal use...it's cheaper that full syn but the quality is of course a bit lame...it's suitable for mid-aged engines that is bout 5-6years or above...

the normal oil is made from MINERAL BASE material from PETROLUEM...it's thicker and cheaper that the full syn and semi-syn but the quality is lower...it's best suited for old engines with many wears and tears coz its thick viscosity can slow down oil consumption of the engines...it kinda cover up the "wound" of the piston ring....

also,the 10W-40 value as we can see on the engine oil has meaning too...
the 10 BEFORE the W is the viscosity or the effectiveness of the oil to protect the engine DURING COLD start ups...so...that means that oil with 5W-40values has BETTER start up protection than oil with 10W-40 because it can cover up(move) n protect the engine more easily...

as for the value BEHIND the W...it represents the heat resistance of the oil...so...the higher the value behind the W...the better the oil can cope with heat...and the lesser chance it will break down...as in 10W-60 is more stable oil than 10W-40 in higher operating rpm...

so guys...if you're opting for the perfect oil...choose the one with the SMALLEST value IN FRONT the W and the BIGGEST value BEHIND the W...coz it will protect your engine in the widest temperature range...

just sharing my experience with all the guys that love their 135s...cheers...

Yes you are right dude_pare. The lowest I can get in Malaysia market without friction modifier is 10W-40. I really love the performance now - fast warming up, smooth gear shift and quieter engine operation.
BTW, I am using Royal Purple. For Malaysia folks you can order them from http://myoilstore.com. It is only RM34 (~USD10) and the oil color is very special!

FYI, all oil, including mineral, operates about 0W-0 @ 100C.

OK, maybe I give some example for clearer view. Let's say the worst viscosity is 10 and the best viscocity is 0.

Full synthetic 15W-60
30C = 6/10
60C = 3/10
100C = 0/10
130C = -1/10
160C = -2/10

Full synthetic 15W-40
30C = 5/10
60C = 2/10
100C = 0/10
130C = -2/10
160C = -4/10

Full synthetic 10W-40
30C = 4/10
60C = 2/10
100C = 0/10
130C = -2/10
160C = -4/10

As observed, smaller value generally gives u better cold start (especially the one in front of "W"). Bigger value BEHIND gives you more heat resistance over 100C.
We don't have to worry about the value BEHIND, as our bike is watercooled. The max temperature (and also the optimum operating point for engine) is around 100C. Unless the LC malfunction, else I would recommend the lowest possible value to decrease the viscosity especially during cold start.

The bad news is, most of the top oil producer includes friction modifier in their oil especially for 10W-40 and below. There is 10W-30 (Royal Purple Max Cycle series) for bike, but I can't find in Malaysia. Super oil like Mobil1 have 0W-40 all the way to 0W-10. I've tried 0W-20 once and straight away drain them out on the 2nd day because the clutch is slipping too much, lol.

hahaha, peace dude, friction modifier will only slip your clutch, but won't harm it badly. Your engine is actually getting more protection compared to other oil :p What rating are you using?
