Exhaust Pipe Review

Exhaust:
AHM black pipe (looks like stock LC pipe)

Powerband:
Lose low - mid rpm torque. Narrow powerband at high rpm.

Noise level:
Freaking noisy

Price:
~USD50, RM160

Comment:
Not recommended. Too noisy and no power at mid-low rpm. I immediately returned to the shop and pay him some labour charge only.

NOB1 Super Silent Sports

Powerband:
Very good low-mid rpm. Can feel more torque from idle - around 7000rpm.
Top rpm power doesn't increase much.

Noise level:
The exhaust note is damn nice. U can hear the 'ohm', but it is silent like stock EX5 exhaust noise level.

Price:
~USD60, RM200

Comment:
Recommended for daily riding and winding road. Very good in acceleration. Not recommended for drag races or someone who aim for top speed.

Those who stay in Penang Island, if you know where is Balik Pulau, I am able to go constantly at 80kph on the super long uphill portion using 4th gear, and only half throttle. Last time I need about 3/4 throttle, or 3rd gear 1/2 throttle. On normal riding, the engine feels smoother especially when upshift. Last time felt more jerky, now less jerky already.

not too loud but not to slow either..its like the CJ IPOH BIKE that put to the HONDA EX5..but in the end of that sound is more than a stock pipe..the idle sound

very suite to stock with no mod...coz its really an exhaust for a standard bike..perf also smooth...cheersss...

yup.. CJ ipoh bike pipe is yery idle for standart mod lc. have a pickup and top speed. i veru nice for standart mod 135lc

Comments:

I love this pipe because its UNIQUE design, lightweight, good performance.

What i love most about trioval is its NOISE is not to silent and not too loud which i love during long rides.

loud pipes is very stressful especially during long rides.
the welding is very good, it uses TIG weld (just like dbs)
so far so good.

just one thing, if you use aftermarket swingarm like TDR type of swingarm or its called motogp swingarm, the exhaust tube will
collide with the stock footrest, so you have to lower your footrest.

but if your use stock swingarm, no problem.

so for now i use Triovale made by Nob1
and i love it!!!!

Oh gosh... NOB1 Triovale !!! I love this pipe too, but the sad case is, it will get caught by police at my place. :(

anyway, 3 days ago I try removing my air filter and inspect it. The filter is freaking clean, only some dust on it. At that time, my odometer shows 16,000+km. So I decided to remove it. My top speed immediately increase by around 10 - 20kph, and the top rpm power becomes smoother.

In my opinion, from the NOB1 SSS design, it actually helps high rpm power as well. The exhaust header portion is slightly bigger than stock and the L-curve is made smoother. Once the air intake is enough, high rpm power comes!!

haha, let's wait for traxxas's youtube review. Then you can hear the melody out of his pipe.

As phl6684 said, we should be able to pass la. After 2 weeks of run-in, the pipe gets even more silent. When idle it is just like original pipe sound only. Well, touch wood I never caught into any road block yet after changing this pipe. I roughly know when and where the police here sets road block, I'll try to avoid them to save troubles. hehehe
