Hi guys, I just want to share this to y'all... My cousin Marlou Acedera few months ago won the "Castrol Power 1 Mechanic Contest"... Im extremely proud of his achievement as a mechanic because not only he defeated top mechanics from Japan, Thailand, Indonesia etc but he was also flown to KL to take part of the Moto GP Honda Gresini Team, specifically to help factory mechanics of the said team... The contest was held like 2mos ago but didnt get the idea to have it posted here, well, atleast I can tell him that I, in my own ways has showed other people how proud I am to be a Filipino and of course, to be his First Cousin (Now, aint that cool?!)!!! Last time I heard was he signed a contract as a Moto GP Team mechanic but didnt disclosed specifics... The winner of the "Castrol Power 1 Mechanic Contest" not only won $1000 and a trophy, but was given the opportunity of a lifetime by working alongside the Team San Carlo Honda Gresini mechanics at the Malaysian GP. Acedera Marlou of the Philippines, who won the multi-nation battle of mechanics in Bangkok, was flown to Kuala Lumpur to help work on the Castrol-backed machines. "I think it’s an opportunity that money can’t buy," said team co-ordinator Carlo Merlini.

Many thanks... He's a silent type of guy and does not usually boast his achievements, most commonly known as Tado (hehehe)... Worked for Mitsukoshi in 1998 - 1999 as a mech then got promoted to chief mech, resigned and transferred to SYM, stayed for few years until the company closed their country sales office, transferred to MPI - PGO, stayed for couple of years until an issue popped up that made him decide to work for Lito at MSC then last time I heard he moved to Kymco and I was surprised to learn that he won the Castrol Power 1... He'd been transferring a lot and for me, it doesnt actually look good on someone's CV... Well, I guess that not all things may appear as what it seem to be but It would really be so stupid if he resigned from his current job as he signed up for a GP Team as what I've heard from my cousins... Anyway, thank y'all guys for reading and I hope that he could inspire all of us to realise that big dreams aint really that impossible to fulfill... Ride safe to everyone, have a happy holidays and happy 13th month pay!!!

he is really a good mechanic.. he repaired our kymco dink. thanks to him!
