Dear Mr. Yoshiaki Takeda
President, Yamaha Motor Philippines

We, the proud and passionate owners of Yamaha Sniper 135 (T135)
would like to file a complain regarding the behavior of your YAMAHA 3S MECHANICS NATIONWIDE towards tuneup, maintenance and servicing of Yamaha Sniper.

  • The common feedbacks of sniper owners are
  • The mechanics are lazy, They are not doing the required maintenance servicing towards our motorcycle properly. They (mechanics) reasoned out that it requires a big task in opening the fairings, Thus Service Maintenance Schedules is not followed.
    [/*:m:23ik0jr1]
  • Some mechanics are NOT well trained in handling these highend moped bikes.[/*:m:23ik0jr1]
  • 3S Shops dont have proper equipment, some equipments are not working.[/*:m:23ik0jr1]
  • No maintenance parts and spare parts available[/*:m:23ik0jr1]
  • No Specialty Tools available fitted for sniper like valve spring remover, crankshaft puller,etc..[/*:m:23ik0jr1]

It is stated in your Corporate Philosophy
"Creating Kando with products and services that exceed your expectations"

Kando is a Japanese word for the simultaneous feeling of deep satisfaction and intense excitement that people experience when they encounter something of exceptional value.

Yamaha's passion is to provide the best motorcycles in the market, the most complete spare parts and unmatched quality of service.

We, the young and active owners of Sniper 135 would like to experience Kando and the feel the yamaha's passion.

The following is our suggestions:
- Re-training of old mechanics particularly about sniper
- Hiring new young, energetic and talented mechanics
- Sending a memo to all 3S mechanics nationwide about this matter.
- Provide spare parts and fast ordering.
- To assign a person that will create and organize an event and tap all yamaha clubs nationwide, this will bring "Strong Yamaha Brand"

Mr. Yoshiaki Takeda, With your leadership, we will support you and We are looking forward for CHANGES to this BRAND NEW YAMAHA

Yours Truly

Yamaha Sniper 135 Owners and YamahaT135.COM

You have my %101 support regarding this issue bro... I personally know the former manager of the main branch but he was moved to Sun Riser when Yamaha Philippines took over... There is indeed lapses in regard to Customer Satisfaction related issues. I'm still having problem with the replacement of my stock parts and was informed by Norkis Yamaha that it will take 2-3mos for the replacement to be completely evaluated and replaced and Im without a bike til the replacement arrives... So me and the other poor Yamaha owners are forced to purchase the replacement at their own expenses, which I think is unacceptable... Yamaha sets expectation and therefore they need to meet consumers expectations... I will be posting your requested info with detailed complain as a support...

complaint: up to now still no registration papers available!!! insiders say that norkis-yamaha head office in mandaue having big internal problems, some employees mixing up papers to avoid retrenchment! head office transfering to southern tagalog, laying off of employees expected. papers being mixed up to delay intentionally. limited availability of stock parts and extremely expensive!!! like oil filter P900!!!! cheaper to buy from yamaha thailand!!!! :x

complain: shock absorbers needs improvements

fortunately indonesian yamaha had a pretty good enough mechanics
and the price of the parts are very reasonable, infact i've found some parts are even cheaper than other motorcycle makers,
and i found an authorized yamaha sevice shop that even uses torque wrench (not just ordinary wrench) for overhouling engine n servicing the bike which is in my opinion is a plus!! which is not common to be found in other bikeshops here :D..so for the aftersales service i think yamaha did a pretty good job here..but for the bike initial quality it needs a little more improvements.. cheers :D

Complain : 1st problem is the plate number issue... it took them a month to have my temporary plate and until now my plate has not arrive, (while honda can produce it in 3 days and max of 1week for temp and max of 2months for the plate...)

2nd problem was when my sniper was having problem with its ignition coil, i brought it to norkis yamaha and the mechanic checked the bike and cleaned the carb... he was not able to solve the problem instead gave me bad A/F mixture for he closed the A/F screw i dont know for what reason... what type of mech is that? yamaha certified? were they trained to tune the bike?

3rd problem how come if we get our bikes tuned in norkis outlets these mechs dont know how to take care of the parts? when i myself took real good care of my bike... everytime i bring my bike to these mech i always end up seeing new scratches in my bike and i really hate scratches!

4th problem... norkis yamaha outlets in the city doesnt even have stocks in terms of OEM spare parts! even the most common the dont have it??? snipers oil filter not available?

I think most of us here bought their bikes only from authorized dealers/retailers thats why when you have problems, you just go to where you bought your bikes right? limited parts, sometimes out of stock and poor knowledge of most mechanics.

I suggest you better go to the nearest YAMAHA SALES OFFICE. Its like a showroom where they sell bikes and genuine parts. they also provide services for our bikes. The best thing is that they have the best mechanics especially for our bikes.

Just don't forget to bring the original sales invoice so you'll get some services for free.

So to all BULAKEŃOS here, the nearest YAMAHA SALES OFFICE is in Marilao, Bulacan. In front of SM Marilao. Its a big building so its easy to see.

I hope this informs you all.
Ride safe bros! :)
