Hard Starting When Raining

Good Day, my problem occurs when it's raining and my MC is parked under the rain I'm having a hard time starting it both using e.start & kick-start. One more thing is when my engine is cold when i start my MC, I have to warm it up first for at least 1 minute or so if not, when revving it feels like my bike is having a hard time moving forward just for several meters but when its warmed up already its ok. What do you suggest I should check and why is this re-occurring? By the way, my engine setup is all stock. I already posted a similar question in the newbie question thread but I feel like I have to create also this thread under the engine section so that it can cover a lot of our fellow forumers/masters to read my current predicament.

i think that our t135 needs to achieve a good operating temperature first to unlease the power in it..

even though we have the same t135 engine, i guess they are still different when it comes to A/F mixture..
another one to consider for me, is the idle screw.. hard starting might be because of low RPM (IMO)..
and also our spark plug..

hmmm...i'll try to adjust the A/F mixture if there is any improvements. Is that also the reason why it's hard to start the MC when it's wet under the rain? It really is very hard to start when my MC gets wet when raining as in you have to kick start it a hundred times..

actually, this is the first time that it happened to me after more than 4 years with my snipee.

ow i see.. how about the carbs?.. due to moisture attracted to the carbs, this might be another factor..

I'll try to check the spark plug if it still ok, maybe that is the culprit. thanks..

how to check the carb sir if there is something wrong? I mean how would I know upon checking?
try to open the hose from the carb and the air filter box, use a clean cloth to see if the hose has moist.. if it has, try to clean the carbs with gas..
edit: hose

use your choke.... once you get your engine running, warm up your engine... its but natural to have a hard starting engine on cold temparature... unless you have driven your bike on flood.. that's a different story...

Hi TS,
I also experienced this hard starting of my sniper. I hope this method is applicable to your sniper, I usually kick start (Ignition key OFF) my Sniper 10x prior to actual Engine starting. Why do this? 10x kick start will be able to facilitate the circulation of the oil especially on the camshaft. (An actual scenario happened to me after 10x kick start my carburetor had an over follow a Yamaha 3’s mechanic check my carbs it was dirty and my rubber gasket is for replacement. After that no more over flow.) Bro if you still using a 20w-50 oil on your sniper, its still required to warm up your engine altleast 10mins

I'm using Castrol Power 1 15W-40W I've been using this since last year but it is only recently that I am experiencing problems. I'll try to get my carb checked and cleaned also at 3s just to be safe.
