Yes bro it is visible at daytime but It depends on the wattage of led you are using, the higher the wattage the brighter.

I have no idea about the brand with good quality bro but LED will last long if ist supply current is constant(not stator driven).
Im using LED light with constant current regulator under my front cowling for 11 months and until now its is still working.

It is less than 1 watt bro. 3 one watt bulb in series driven with o.1A of current (0.3watt per LED).
Each LED is capable of 0.3A current and will be much brighter if driven in 0.3A(1watt per LED).

Bro's.. im just wondering if you can share the diy circuit diagram?...
@NACZ Here it is bro. Just substitute load in the circuit with 3 one watt LED in series.0.1 ampere current will be constant even voltage supply reach more than 15volts.
Make sure that LED will mounted in heatsink since it will create a lot of heat with .1A although it can handle maximum current of .3A.
LM317 should also be mounted on heatsink since at 15v it will create 0.6watts of heat.
