Hi guys,

almost 3 days now been trying to see whats the best way to convert our mags from drum brake to disc brake using local parts available.
from local forums, ive read that kawasaki HD3 and yamaha RS100 sprocket hub will fit.

i bought those two hubs and i found out the Kasawasaki HD3 hub is the best for our stock mags.

3 days passed and still modding...

our stock rear mags bearing code : 6301

regarding the bearing that will fit with hd3 and axle rod,
this is the hardest part.

the good thing is our local bearing supply store is so helpful,
he gave me a special bearing 12BC04 (inside diameter 12mm / outside diameter 42mm).
this bearing is used in the flyweel/transmission of Toyota 2C engine.
:) its perfectly fit with HD3 hub and our stock t135 axial rod.

heres some initial materials needed: (will add more once im all done)

MATERIALS
- 1 pc. Kawasaki HD3 sprocket hub = P250
- 1 set xrm rear disc conversion set w/ caliper,master,hose,cup =P3000
- 1 pc. bearing 12BC04 (used in transmission of vehicles Toyota 2C) = P300
- 1 pc oil seal 26x42x8 = P50
- 1 pack hd3 rubber damper = P25
- 1 pack rs100 rubber damper = 25
- 1 pc. sleeve axle xrm (bushing for custom caliper bracket) = P35
- 4 pcs of 3.5 inches nut and bolt ( 8mm x 90mm) = P50
- 8 pcs stainless plain washer 5/16 = P12
- common sense = PRICELESS :) hehehe
====================
Total = P3747

MISCELANEOUS
- marker pen
- 8mm drillbit for electric drill
Sir traxxas,

Will the hub fit on the RB disc plate saw/flower type? It's kinda bigger than the stock plate of the sniper. I'm still looking for HD3 hub here in our town. Maybe im gonna bring the rotor to look for a fit hub.

same size with the stock front rotor
Same size with the stock but AFAIR the 4 holes does not fit the stock mags. The flower/saw type has kinda bigger hole distance. I'll confirm it once I get home.

My sniper has been on standby for weeks already. Still looking for a good mechanic and machine shop here in our town. I looked for an HD3 sprocket hub but the salesman didn't give me the hub that I was looking for. It was not the one with 4 holes. Maybe we had a misunderstanding. Was it really hd3 sprocket hub or flange. :confused:

I'm thinking of changing the disc plate so I could finally fit the disc with HD3 (will the RB disc plate for mio fit for the HD3 hub and RB rear disc assy for sniper?hmmm). Or just buy new mags and sell the stock one. :confused:

it is posible sir but there is a modification., first the stock mags of r150 has no speedo cap., the spacers, the bracket of the caliper,and the bearing., the sprocket hub
