How to make an? Front engine cover

looks cool...was planning to make one like that...just dunno what to use..coz nud just gets into our engine and it does not look nice ti have a dirty engine

just simple though,go buy aluminium plate that used to make register plate on bikes or cars,measured it,then cut it,make sure that u buy the thin one,dont use the thick one,cut with plate cutter,just like scissors,put double side tape on the edge or screw them,got it?????

:) do you now how???..that front plate,is made by aliminium plate 2mm thin..midlle ada that plate have a yamaha logo...u know who did that...it me :oops: hahahaha...i using waterjet mechine 2 do that...

WOW, compleate air restriction. talk about your over heating problems. i would rather have something sporty looking and more functional than somthing that restricts

it wont overheat..the radiator is way higher

its just there to protect the engine from mud and water...nice one with yamaha logo....hope you can make me one....naije =)

It's so ez to make guys, don't need shipping and all that crap. Either get some aluminium and cut it up to diameter with the front base or just buy some 2 cents futureboard or aka plastic cardboard and stick it on. Even a baby can do it.

It would help alot too because that area of our bikes always getting covered in mud and shit. It's a bitch to clean everytime especially at the exhaust and the rubber box cover for the radiator fluid. Too bad yamaha did not make a cover box to begin with, it's such a simple thing.

We have it here from fiberglass.

Putting some holes would still be better.
Bcoz I think it may still intefere with the air flow, especially when reaching hi speed.

Well it could be. But, one that I saw was (could be) fiberglass as it was too rough. Need alot of work to smooth and paint it. Most of acrylic is fine in shape, dont you think?

ya that right mas catoer...have problem with air flow..now i still thinking how to make a hole so air can flow under it..without have a problem when hi speed...and cover it flom mud 2..

da whole fairin was design for ideal airflow for coolin not just da radiator but for da whole engine...mebi
