Howto: Projector Retrofit Headlight

actually im looking for retrofit kind of 40mm~50mm diameter...low beam. to replace auxiliary light and create more likely R1 2009 headlight.. :roll:

so did anyone manage to try to fit projector lense on the auxiliary lights?? i intend to put 1 projector 1 on each side to work as a headlight... but it seems hard to fit..


anyone manage to do it pls share wif me hw thx

are u sure bro? then how do you open up the casing for the auxiliary light?

then for the socket of the t10 is so small, do i have to drill..? care to share cos i got myself single beam projector light but haven try to install..

bro i stil waiting for ur projector to be fix on the aux lights.. and after seeing, and if u happen to sell the whole set (aux light + projector) i buy frm u thx

bro, i think you really have to find a way to fit it in auxillary light.
i dont know how to do it now since i havent tried it,
but as they say,
"if theres a will, theres a way"

i only sell projector lights bro, its up to you how to fit it in auxillary light.
so far this projector of mine is the smallest i find...

no bro, it will use the reflector inside the projector

btw heres the wiring layout for dual beam projector

sir may i ask. when you remove the stock bulb socket, do you mean cut off the socket and make a whole with a diameter that the projector will fit in? or the stock bulb socket is just simply un-mounted then the whole is ready for the projector to fit in?

1) wat do we use to stick the stock headlamp lens back? (material n brand name will b useful)

2) wat method/equipment do we use to cut out the stock headlamp bulb socket?

Traxxas, or anyone who has installed this item.

I have a concern about heat. I installed this and just 2 minutes being on while I was adjusting it, I noticed that it is very warm, I have a concern about it getting too hot and melting the lens and worse the wiring in the back side.

can anyone advise me on this? also, Just wondering if I installed this correctly, cause there no label for top or bottom for the projector. which side (top/Bottom) is the solenoid on?
