ask for the receipt for the product. or where he got it, then go to that store and ask to see if they have that product that matches the box you have. then you can confront him with reall proof.

The only way is, first go to Yamaha authorised dealer and fix you clutch first then follow the argument on the manual clutch.
Why first off all your boss does want sell the clutch to you when he can use.The problem cost him to sell and unfortunatly your are the victim.
Then get your boss to justify to proof evidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the hard shifting can easily adjusted by adjusting the screw on the side cover, but u gottaknow how to do it.

mebi he just adjust it harder than normal

but i like it harder and longer clutch, coz easier and more precise to control release of clutch when downshifting

Have some adjusted that screw, but after some time it is hard during down shifting.
This would not happen if were to change hand clutch, right?

It is all the same as old model accept it has new decals, manual hand clutch, and dual piston pot caliper.
and thats for additional RM200 & 60USD

Guys, I have problem with down shifting (mine is manual)
Sometimes I got to kick it several times especially from 3rd to 2nd.
Yamaha mechanic had taken care of it twice.
But here I am. Keep kicking all the time.
Mebi should do it by myself, dunno..

when you say "kicking" are you talking about the shift lever on your left foot?? because i had that problem too for nutrual to 1st and back. all i did was change the oil to a better brand. then it was fixed. but there is an adjustment inside the shifting case. i just don't know where it is. the machanic here told me that.
or maybe your clutch liner dosn't have enough flow for the oil to get into it. the machanic alsot me about some bikes having this problem. they had a bike at the dealership that someone baught, it only had 1 klm on it then the guy brought it back because he was having trouble with shiftin. the machanic changed the clutch lining, but bedoe doing to he also added a few holes in a plate that alows the oil to come in, he put one more hole on bothe sides of the place, he said one side oil comes in and the other oil goes out, with the added holes it alows more oil to lubracate the clutch when riding. less friction means smoother shifting. it worked, the bike hasn't been back for the same problem..

when hope that info helps. alittle.
