This is just a "feeler" to see if anyone or how many would be interested in splitting cost for the K&N RC-0984. One box includes 4 filters. Approx cost after shipping and handling P2250-2500/filter.

(This is the product posted by bro yoshimura sniper, i'm not sure if its the same model no. as the one posted by bro sigea.)

If anyone has had success with another K&N model no. pls let us know and post a write up.

nice filters! will it fit on the carb? I like to have one of those so I can remove the airbox to maximize space. how come it costs 2,500 pesos per filter? the price in the picture shows only 4,000 yen. Its equal to almost 2,500 per box and not per piece.

@unlimited - the price I saw online was $138/box. which doesn't include shipping. If we can get from japan at a cheaper price, that would be good.

If anyone is willing to organize the buy, I'm very much interested.

@hearth - i'm not sure if the X1-R airbox is the same size/shape as sniper/lc135. Bro fibercraft is an active member of the board, you can pm him.

Still have to do a little research if this model will work with our bikes. You can also check the other posts by bro sigea, and yosh sniper.

OK GUYS TO SUM IT ALL UP THERES NO EXACT MODEL NUMBER OR K&N TYPE THAT FITS T135 CARB.

HERES WHAT BRO SIGEA SAID HOW DID MOD HIS FILTER TO FIT THE CARB.

Good question and the answer is no, it doesn't fit the carb, in fact is much bigger.. what the mechanic did was, he took out the tube rubber part that connects the stock air box to the carb (cause it fits the carb), puts it in side the K&N air filter.. There were still gaps cause the the hole of the K&N filter is big, so the mechanic took and cut out rubber from tyre tubes to cover the gaps, used industrial tape and cable tie to tighten the gaps,(wished he used silicon to secure it) passed it to me to test whether its strong and check for gaps/holes, was good so he fixed it

but personally, I like the looks of the oval shaped filter. (Looks cool sitting in place of the airbox)

I guess not much interest for the K&N RC-0984.

final cost would have been PHP1965/ea plus shipping from cavite to your location.

thanks guys.

@big poppa - received your pm

It would not be a "direct fit", it would need to be adapted with some type of coupler reducer, i believe bro sigea of sg used inner tube, zip ties, and industrial tape. He also suggested to use silicone for a good seal.

I was thinking of using slices/parts of hard rubber like that of a radiator hose, since i've seen some which reduce in size close to what is needed.

Here is the inside flange spec.

Flange Inside Diameter: 2.125 in (54 mm)
