Kick Start Is Not Responding

Guys i really need some big knowledge about this

my sniper 135 no longer starts or responds or operates anymore.

when i hit the kick start, it's like im almost pressing my hand clutch because it gives no effort on kicking it.

it sounds like its about to start bust missing something.

somes says its the piston, some says it could be the carb then some says it is the clutch.

i really want to have my sniper back working.

and unfortunately, i dont have a well known mechanic and i dont want to mess things up.

sir..i will definitely feel more than blessed if you will give some ideas.thanks

i think your problem is the clutch linning, maybe it is already sliding, base on my experience

sir have you tried using electric start if yes and nothing hppens just cranking the engine
then remove the sparkplug then cover the hole your finger just to block the hole then crank the engine if no comprssion

-- loose compression/blow-by engine
- cylinder wall is damage
- hole in the piston..
- cylinder head damage

Need to replace the bore kit ie block, piston and rings...
If piston hole due to lean mixture on carb settings or the valve colide with the piston due to over revv or valve float
Cylinder wall damage,, not enough oil to lubricate, or overheat..

any suggestions for aftermarket replacements for the said parts sir?
as well as any price range if possible?
i appreciate your response sir!

talking about the over rev,i use a brt cdi but stock vspring,is that the cause of the vale float?should i upgrade my vsprings too?

i only use this bike lets say once every two weeks.when we say cylinder wall is damage, then what should i do then? change it or just a repair?

Vixion Valve Spring and Stiffer Clutch Spring. Stock bore of Sniper is one tough cylinder. When its damage it cannot be repaired.

hi JL Jose

this problem of your same happen to me last august. it happen that my bike didn't start on kick start and electric starter. it is happen to that when i pull out my spark plug oil all over the plug and start to cover the plug hole and try to kick starter the compression was ok it feels like large pressure of air pushing my finger. then i tried to dry the oil on the plug and re install it and the bike starts all the main problem is the valve seal already worn out and oil is coming out and collide to the plug that is why it is hard starting. but when my mechanic replace it he also suggest to replace the set of rings this is to prevent the re-opening process of the engine and to save up service charge of the mechanic. hope not too late for my story you can read this hope it helps. our engine if steps up at the mileage of 50k km it time to replace the valve seals to prevent any problem at the road it is pain in the ass if this problem happens to you promise have a nice day t135 family.

wow thanks for sharing the story sir!

i remembered we pulled the spark plug out before, and tested it the way you did but we dont notice any oils or leaks.

about the set of rings, can you please explain it?is it the valve seal?i really dont have the deep knowledge about our sniper really.

sir you really helped a lot! my sniper would be really happy for this!

My mechanic ask me to replace the ring set since my old ring is still ok he said this is ti save up on his service the main problem of my bike was the valve seals they already loose oil coming out of it that is why the plug wet with oil. But about the rings set of my bike i believe it is still ok. Since if the the bike is already loose compression it will still starts but it will be noisy knocking engine it is like because it happens on my 2006 honda wave the pistons already worn and the only problem was the noise of the engine knocking sound it is very anoying hearing a knocking metal inside the engine hope this helps a very long story of mine

Not all loose compression will run.. If the piston has hole due to for exxample to lean condition the bike will not start... Bent valves snipey will not also run..

I think it depend on the set up but on stock sniper those problem will never gona happen i am refering to all stock sniper and some stock bikes because my expirience was based on a stock bike in a modified bike ofcourse it would happen that the bike will never run because of altered design of the engine, because if you are base on the manual of the bike it is already writen there that all etc parts will be needed to replace after this and that km readings.

TO ALL THE DOWN TO EARTH MASTERS who helped me solved this puzzle, thanks so much!

issue resolved!

one of my 4 valves (bigger one) already popped up,so i had to replace it.

at first, everybody thought it was the piston but after opening the head, that's the root cause.(valve)

i already have my sniper back!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

T135 FAMILY!
