WHAT??? who told you that? there are only so many key combination that can be made for one size key. that's why they came out with different size keys, so they are not coping the same key comb all the time.

The ignitions has nothing to do with the engine running faster.

my auto mechanic has a Ducati M900 that he is building, it just arrived from Dubai, the key is about 1/8 inch longer than my key for my sniper. and it's about 1/2 inch shorter than my key for my jeep. Really, i don't think the length of the key has anything to do with the amount of power the bike has.

i think your serious... the bigger the displacement the bigger the key.. for example you have a 100cc bike and compare to a 1000cc bike the key should be about times 10 the size? think so? hahahahaha

thats not true, my wife uncle has a motorcycle shop. a 155cc mc and the new Crypton key is the same size.
My friend has a Shogun Suzuki 125cc, his key is bigger than mine. your theory is soo wrong. the key maybe bigger for big bikes and it may not. it is e-relevant to the amount of power it provides to the bike.

yeah Goff is right the key of the motorcycle has nothing to do with the power or displacement of the bike, its funny people would think that, my honda cb 900cc key is the same size as my 135 lc lol this threa was originally designed to just verify if yamaha accidentally issued identical keys to different owners and to know the differece in the key codes of our bikes from all the different countries its produced :) -I heard Ducatis in the middle east are sold much much cheaper than its original retail value, thinking of getting one shipped to here in the near future if possible although the tax would be murder lol
