Magnum ignition coil

blue thunder...said to be made in USA..price tag here around US$ 15...

so tested and proven it work.. help in wat way,as in pick up? does fuel mielage increase alot?

for what kind of bike? the Blue Thurnder is not for a T135 i'm sure of that??

the magnum coil supposed to fit all bike,even better for moped..its says from the hyperlink i attached

Hey Barua, what do you mean by magneto coil. Is that the one with a high voltage coil and the cdi does not need any battery to run?

Just minor modify not mean we no need to use battery lor...
Modify for more spark voltage der..

dun dared to modify,scared the mechanic incompetent and i noe nuts abt it... better to buy aftermarket,if spoil stil gt original to replace..

Ah ok have done that, up side is more power on ignition down side lightings not as bright as before but no problem I will use on day time only

Yes dude because stock stator no primary coil that gives power to CDI beacuse battery operated.

Modification is by removing all winding coil (charging coil) then wind very fine wire to several poles to make primary coil then winding large wire to remaing pole for ligth and battery charging.

So what happened was power output of light or charging coil reduce. But can use any CDI that is not battery operated.

Btw,does it caused any other damaged to bike.if after installing the coil for daily usage?

Actually the biggest electrical load is ligthings so you may feel a drop in idling when you turn on the headlight plus since the reduce capacity there is a tendency that the coil will overload and may eventually burned.

So I would not suggest this to daily use. My T135 is not intended for daily use so I could afford to install that. I am thinking of having a spare stock coil so that I can still run the bike at full electrical load using stock CDI.

When you start modifying you have to consider the use of your bike because modification limits the purpose and life span of bike.

Also my electric starter is not in use because starter cannot turn engine due to higher displacement.
