what if powder coating is not available in the area?

ive tried paiting using spraypaint and it just peels off after some time...

any other idea?

afaik spray paint usually needs primer coating to last
powder coating here in manila is almost cost the same as painting job on paint shops

After your mags have been painted, try to consider using tubeless tires and put some anti-flat gel as well.

also tire installer must use a rim protector. or a carton to protect the paint on the mags. sometimes it depends on the tire installer on how he install the tire on the rim.

always bring your mags to a hydraulic tire changer, no sratches unless operator is dumb..adherence of any spray paint is dependent on how you prepare the surface to be painted... sandpaper 120 n 100 will do..

Use polyurethane. then thicken the coat. that's what I used on my swing arm. til now the paint has not chipped off.
