MODS: Lighted transparent Plate Holder

heres my latest mods

I added a Powerful red LED light to my Transparent Plate Holder and
now i can use it as my parklight or brake light


looks good also, its like NEON RED when viewed during night...

all you need are the ff
- 1 pc LED light
- 1 pc 20ohms resistor 1/4watt (red black black green)

you have to series the resistor 20ohms to the led light
so that you can power it with 12Volts

Yow Trax. Asking...
Using 1/4 watts 20 ohms means that you use LED with higher voltage?
The regular LED is 3 volt wich need 1.2 kohm right?

just go to an Automotive accessories shop that has all kinds of Decorative lighting, look for interior dome lights, they come in 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 20 square LED light packet. all you have to do is strip the end of the wire, solder some longer wire to it. then connect it to your parking or Brake light wireing. then install it to where ever you want.

Hey guys, I heard from my police friend that anything Strobe like on a motorcycle is illegal and is a P2,000 fine and or confiscating of bike. but it's ok if it's a constant light as long as it doesn't blind the person in front or in back of you. And the LTO are on the look out.

hehehe, actually the law has been out for some time. it's just the Gov. needs to make money, so there being told to enforce the laws more. hehehe, but it's funny when there also breaking the law and get caught.
