Moisten Tail Pipe

Guy's can you enlighten me!? I'm currently experiencing some moist at the end of my arrester and a black small spots in my rear mags after a long run. Some guy told me that it could be my valve seal or maybe my piston rings are worn out, but somehow the compression on kickstart is still in good condition and sometimes its kinda hard to kick. white smoke is visible in idling but not that much. and the engine oil is still in level. I'm currently using semi synth putoline that can be bought in tres hermanas Caloocan city.. If such circumstances arise, can you atleast give me an idea what to do before trying to open up my engine and what are the best thing to consider before spending too much on this.

It's normal for "white smoke" to appear out the exhaust in cold start - there is a small amount of water present in gas that gets burned in the combustion process and is released as vapor, or white smoke, out the tailpipe. Other causes of white smoke are blown head gaskets on liquid cooled bikes. Next time this happens, check the outlet of the muffler closely... . Try a higher octane to see of the problem goes away. White smoke can also be caused by unburnt fuel. If a spark plug is erratic in operation it can fail to ignite the fuel/air mixture in the cylinder under compression forces and shoot it out the exhaust valve as white smoke. One other cause is the engine running too lean. How old is your bike? check the condition of the carb rubber intake boots. If they are cracked, this can allow air to get sucked in and lean out the mixture, causing white smoke.

The bike year model is 2006 and bought in mid 2007. the smoke doesn't look like a real smoke that we found in cigarettes which is flying along together in the wind. it's like a burnt water vapor "a very thin white smoke" which can be seen when performing a sudden rev. If you put your palm against the end of the pipe you will notice that your palm will become dark as carbon starts to stick unto your hands noticeable, and one more thing that i noticed is when i run the bike 80 to 100kph for 15mins the surface of the rear mags has a black small spots which can be determined as carbon + oil.

Pafs, better have it checked by your reliable mechanic or just come to 3S shops for check up. It might be your piston ring or valve seal already worn out.

I AGREE... CONSIDER BUYING NEW PISTON RING AND VALVE SEALS WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR ENGINE TO SAVE FOR LABOR COST, GOT THE SAME OR EXACT PROBLEM I HAD BEFORE.

yepp sure, ill keep that on my list. btw is it possible to lose a bit performance when suffering such problems like mine? cause i feel the same way before. lol it was like riding a 125cc engine on a 100/80 rear tire

AS FAR AS I RECALL NOPE... JUST CHECK YOUR ENGINE OIL REGULARLY, BUT YOU MUST FIX IT ASAP IT MIGHT DAMAGE YOUR ENGINE BLOCK FURTHER.
