i did my run under 80kmh only till 1000km....

mine... because i changed a new block and pistons... so the first 500 km... i used it by just a speed of 60-80kph and after 500 km... now its 800+ kms.... im using it as if there is no tommorow.... hahaha.... im tryin to reach my top speed now... 120 kph... and i know that its not accurate.. coz i raced with an raider 150... and damn... i won... hahaha ride safe..

now im just run not xceed 60km. so worry maa, can damage the machine.

one thing... im think im heard strange sound from engine... but can't xplain detail how is that sound.. the sound will notice when no other car on the road.. maybe like buzz (dengung) sound.. hopefully that's normal.
coz im newbie with the yamaha machine... but really enjoy ride 135...

iyeah i can also hear that... it is coming from the filter.. and if you remove the filter [element] you can hear it well..

one more to ask otai here... actually i.m just heard tat 'run-in' period is up 2k km.... somebody told me, 1k km is good already, but the best is 2k km... for the engine lasting..any opinion from 135 oldtimer here... tq

i'm not some kinda pro but for me i done my break in for 1k km n still riding perfect till now... 10k km already wif quite heavy mods oso

I was recommended to break it in for 3k klm, but i didn't i tried to go i think to 1.5k, but even then it was kinds hard with the sound of the bike and the roaring engine between my legs just made me want to rev the engine so much when riding.

i think its all up to the owner whether to break in up to 3k or less....i just break until 1k only...hmm.... :roll:
