I just want to know what modifications should I do to my bike? I just want to have a higher top speed and faster acceleration.. I'm thinking of the following items: RCDI, Racing cams, Clutch Spring and jettings.. I've currently installed a DBS big elbow open pipe on my bike.. What else should i put on my bike so that i can achieve the higher top speed and faster acceleration? My odo reading is 19k+. I use my bike for daily use and for touring.. I don't want my bike to become a drag bike or for circuits.. Just want to have a higher top speed and faster acceleration.. I also want the items to be plug and play and compatible with each other.. TIA for your comments and suggestions.. :)

RCDI - what brand? Do i have to change anything when i install RCDI?
Racing Cams - what brand? Do i have to change anything when i install Racing Cams?
Clutch Spring - what brand? Do i have to change anything when i install Clutch Spring?
Jettings- what size and bran? Do i have to change anything when i install much bigger Jettings?

TIA again.. Have a good day.. :)

simple set up:

shave block 1mm, cost p 100-150 sa machine
namban racing cam, cost p600 -1000
siam sprocket set made in thailand 15t-38t, cost p650, or just change the your stock 39t to 38t or 37t
rextor cdi-cost ( selling mine for p4000 b-new)
jettings 1o5
clutch springs stock will do

specifically for touring, top speed, it depends but 120kph in 3rd gear is attainable.

want to speed up your bike but on medium budget ? .. heres my tip ..

  • clutchsprings for +acceleration
  • port and polish is a must! especially when ur using open pipes
  • racing cam
  • open carb .. (remove the air filter box and replace with after market)
  • remove choke assy on the carb (its for better intake .. you dont need to buy jetings stay stock. just some minor changes)
  • have ur stock block shaved atleast 1mm for higher compresion
i suggest u bro to prioritize those engine mods first before buying a racing cdi .. because those mods are the internal parts and cdi is just an external part of our mc .. you can change it whenever you want when you have money for the cdi ..

it is better to do the steps listed all at once and not doing it one by one .. because you can save more money if you change engine parts at once rather than doing it over and over again because of lack of money ,, it is better to pay for mechanic labor only once than paying them again and again, that way u can save money .. in short (para isang gawa nlang)

i assure u bro , you will definitely feel and love the performance your mc will gain !!
you know me bro .. you know i dont lie :D

tried and tested bro .. mani mani lng jan 140-150kph .. guaranteed !!!!

but remember bro .. magpagawa ka sa MEKANIKO at wag sa SIRANIKO !
dun ka pagawa sa mga kila2ng mekaniko .. di bale na magbayad ng mejo malaki sa labor .. atleast quality ang gawa !

.. hope this wud help .. ridesafe bro ! ;)

@extiyan
bro .. the shaving part will not do u any harm .. im using vixion kit 57mm .. i had my block shaved also for higher compresion also .. and up to now .. i havent got any problems at all .. (higher compresion results to better aceleration and topspeed) if u dont like that , u hav ur own choice .. u can just forget about it .. bro ,, for me .. i insist you to do engine mods first before changin ur cdi .. because as i have said earlier .. u can buy a racing cdi anytym and u can install it very easily .. because its just plug n play .. unlike engine mods, it takes more time , and more complicated ... above are my suggested mods, but u can always do anything to your mc , because it is yours , im just here to give u some tips .. hehe :)

@guitarizta
bro im not sure about the prices, but i will try to give you a closer estimate to the orig price ..

when i am still in to racing .. my mc can run 165 kph on 400 meters ..

heres my set up ...

LHK stage 1 cam-1500
port and polish-1500
LHK clutchspring-250
LHK valvespring-1200
stock carb (stock jettings)
57mm chrome bore block-9000
BRT racing cdi-3500
and 80kg rider (ME :))-priceless ! haha

and the rest that are not mentioned ... ALL STOCK ..

-- as u can see bro .. my parts engine are really cheap and affordable ..(exept for the block ! ahahahah) but i am very happy with the performance it gives.. and we both know my speedometer gauge would not lie to me :D
