Hi everyone. I've decided to make my own blog for my bike because I've noticed I've been taking pictures of my sniper when a new mod is done so I thought might as well make a blog to show some pictures of my first own bike sniper.
I recently graduated from college and thought before that I wanna have my own treasure so to speak (which I thought of a bike or a car, which my beloved mother can't afford to buy the latter, should've been a Civic/Vios/Jazz/Fiesta. So I opted for a bike.)
Then I was looking and searching for a bike that I wanna have. I search on MCP and forums to look for a nice bike with a good feedback. My options then were XRM and Fury. I even search for CBR150 but the prize kinda made me think my mother probably won't get me a 150k worth bike. But My sis told me she saw a Sniper in Valencia City, Buk. which looked good. And I search for it in the internet. When I first saw it, I thought ain't that good enough. Searched for it's specs, I thought 135cc wow faster than normal 125cc bikes but still not convinced because it it's looks.
One day I went to school, and I saw a sniper personally. I looked at it carefully, the front cowling really looked like a sports bike except the headlight part. But I told myself, I think I'm gonna have the sniper for sure.
Before our graduation, I told my mother she should buy me a bike because I finally graduated. I told her that if I graduate she will get me a car/bike which she agreed. The bet was actually to pass the board exam but I can't wait. Teehee. We looked for a sniper and found the red one. I asked for the new Sniper MX but the saleslady said it is not yet released (this was the time I kinda regret for not waiting when the new Sniper MX was released last May). My sister said it's kinda expensive that we should get Vega Force instead because it looked kinda the same. I thought WTF I'm here to expect and get a sniper not other bikes. I'm glad mother agreed for a sniper and bought one. I was so excited and I personally rode it home even though I wasn't good enough with manual transmission. But I managed because we had a Kawasaki KMX back home (hard to clutch though).
Few days later my classmate told me it looks good. But he said I should've gotten a Raider150 instead because of a little price difference but different displacement and looks. I kinda regret it then and thought what if I bought the raider150 which also looked good and faster with 150cc.
But after a few mods especially when I saw the fender eliminator made by fibercraft. I thought hey the sniper looks better than the raider. And sniper owners are kinda rare here in our city that when I pass by our school or meet other bikers on the road they would look on my bike and I was kinda flattered. I even heard a schoolmate who told his friends "sniper part oh!" .. Then I became a proud sniper owner. hehehe
Here was the first pic I took on my sniper. March 2011

My first mod is my DBS pipe. Good sound. Not too loud and not silent.
After being here in the forum I thought I'm gonna buy an FE, Fenders and belly pan from fibercraft. I got too busy for a NLE review so it took me a long time before my FE got installed.
I painted the front fender first because it was the easiest to install.

I exchanged the park light and signal lights.

Then I had to go home for the burial of my grandma. I was a lone rider then from Cagayan de Oro to Kibawe, Bukidnon. It was also a good opportunity to break in the bike. Atugan Bridge:

Got to take a pic with my sister's bike (XRM110). It was actually mine before I stayed in CDO to enroll in college. Our KMX at the background:

When I returned to CDO. My headlight seemed to be burned when I changed to a xenon hid bulb.

Finally installed the FE and other stuffs.

Electric seat opener and a car horn (not in the pic).

I wonder if I could still use my sidestand and centerstand after installing the rearset and belly pan. Sir sniperyaz wrote I have to cut the foot pegs to save the side stand. And I think shave the belly pan to fit the centerstand.
I'm also thinking of looking for a shorter rod. (to make it down = gear up and up = gear down) Got used to this with our KMX.
