Painting T135 Crank Case

masters, can someone please give feed back if we are to paint the CRANK CASE of our t135 ? what heat resistant paint did you use or the method of painting it ? any feed back will be highly appreciated masters. thanks and RIDE SAFE TO US ALL... :cool:

I used Bosny Hi-temp before. :) I think i bought the lowest in temp range.. The only problem I encountered was the primer paint :D the color went off from what I expected. heheh Red hi-temp paint vs stock silver crankcase paint.. Output was still red..red color of a mabolo fruit.. have you seen one? hehe

price before was 250-350 i think..

btw for the guys out there, is there any some kin of " hi temp powder coating" process? :D just curious... :)

thanks sir for the info. last month someone posted in fb an imported high temp paint..wen i asked the person who posted it..he told me that they are only selling by the gallons...hur hur hur and it costed about more than 2k as far as i could remember heheh. i think high temp powder coating is better..if they have .

i havent seen a mabolo fruit bro...hehe hw bout the red of a dragon fruit..is this the same color? before u painted d crankcase..did u sandpaper it first? coz ive heard from a painter dat u we nid to do this first

my crankase was painted red for almost 1yr. and it look like new at the moment no fading occur.. we only use anzhal, from primer to topcoat..
not hi temp. just the usual anzhal paint.. just dont apply to much paint on the crankcase 2 coating will do to prevent from cracking.

yep..we used high cc sandpapers... 1000cc will do.. its for smoothing the surface.. removing dirts and oil,gas stains that would affect the paint when applied..wet sanding to be specific..after sanding, wash it with soap.. dry.just until you're already sure that its clean, you can now apply your primer :)

i want to do this too, paint my crank case to black. just don't know what kind of paint is suitable for use. great query. evil thoughts? :p

in my case, we used Anti-corrosion primer..that is color green primer. Next, Choose the color you want in your case and last the top coat..

anzhal pain is okay we tried it allready on various crank case even the whole engine but never tried on t135. just use anzhal sir seven from primer, paint and top coat..

Yup powder coating is the best...though VHT hi temp can paint will work,you can get it at true value stores.
