the biggest tire you can put on the stock rim is F-90/80, r-110/80.

the 90/80 f is tight in the fender and does rub some.

Thanks goff,

How 'bout rim sizes/widths, with those tires will I have any problems (fitment/clearance on stock forks & swingarm) using the F 1.85 , R 2.5 wheels. I'm thinking about going with the Racing Boy 811's and converting to the disc brake setup.

with the wider rims, you can still only go 90/80 in the front, unless you change your tree that attaches the fork to the bike to be wider. on the back i believe the widest you can go is 130 for the 2.5 rim. and that may not fit into the stock fender. if you want to keep stock fender then just stick to 110. ok bro

don't forget, bigger tires, and rims may cause your bike to loss top speed, so you may also want to look for a better sprocket and chain combo.

cool, thanks bro for the info. I'll stick with what works in the stock fork and swingarm. Just waiting on LC to get some prices to me. So maybe F 90/80 and R 110/70 (if available) or 80/80 100/80.

Planning to go +2 on rear sprocket to help out a little with the new rims and tires. Maybe a lighter chain also.

@blue308
pm sent... by the way, ur chain combination if u use 90/80 110/70 tyres should b nice wif 14/38... tat was wat i had on my bike, was using 14/36 n my bike felled very heavy after i changed to the 1.85,2.50 rims wif the tyres mentioned above but after changing the rear sprocket up by two, ah, bike feels so much better =)

I know Traxx recommended to me with bigger tires, the 16f/42r tooth combo. But i'm having trouble finding that combo.

16/42 will b almost similar to 14/37 n 39/15... slight difference in the ratio but u'll get somewhere almost similar to 16/42 so u could try tat out if u can't get 16/42 sprockets =)
