gud day precious sniper x-1R owners.
i'm dreadfully in need of your help on how to get the perfect adjustment/timing of the racing CDI. it is a smart click brt cdi. It is adjustable. there are two knobs for adjustment...one for the RPM (up to 16 000) and the other one is the degrees,BTDC (up to 41 degrees)
this is where im having a problem with..the degrees.
ive provided a picture of it.

as of now, the adjustment is at 15 000 rpm while the degrees is at 37.
i really don't know if this is the right adjustment. niether with the use of the degrees.

considering the carburator (stock), is there any proportionate adjustments/turns? how many turns?...im using a yypang pipe.

your suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated..thanks bros.

did you get higher top speed?
i am also use this type cdi,
unfortunately my top speed remain the same..
i use 36 degree n 13000 rpm..
that is enough.

i got 130...but took me few kilometers to reach that speed...i didnt doi any nods on my engine except hte cdi pipe clutch spring and clutch lining.

i cant get any higher speed yet...is there any mods for the engine compatiple to that cdi.

yes, how to set correct maps for BRT super imax, i have the same question too, and do it need to cut of the Pulser ?

anhhq..i have dowloaded the manual..its just that i really can understand it...i dont speak that language...i dont know ethier how to set mine...wahhhhhh!!!

i hope theres someone who could extend a little help.

12krpm. My engine definitely can't go so high, but setting 10k or 11k somehow make the limiter kicks in a bit too early.

as of now my setting is at 12krpm and 35 degrees...great acceleration.

i want to extend it to 15 or 16krpm the problem is i dont know how to set the BTDC (degrees) correctly.

Why are you guys doin' this to your bikes & selves?
Use REXTOR... just plug it. Then if you want to do some adjustments do the retard & advance timing... Prob solve Bro's... :D

its our choice to use what we think wil be best for our MC and we have diff engine setup ok. if u think ur REXTOR is best for u as trevvv said "congratulation bro!!!"..

FYI NACZ.. BRT is the CDI use by PHILIPPINE YAMAHA TEAM.. :D
