Removing Decompression Assembly

in my bike bro, the pin and the inner mechanism were removed by our mechanic coz theres no longer pin that hold that thing so theres might be possibelities that have i ticking sound,, his just grinded the part that holds to the cam gear.

when i travelling on constant speed, i feel my bike has a sound.. i dont know how to explain.. but the sound come from the engine.. and the sound is very constant.. is like something rotating/moving kind.. issit caused by the decomp assy?

try to remove the inner mechanism bro as what sir Haen said.. my bike has no sound as of now after installing the special tuned vixion kit from Haen.

becoz mine i only removed the pin and yes
it has a little bit tic-tic sound that makes me
nervous in the condition of my bike...

iam still blur for this topic?is that good or bad for removing the decompression assembly?if that good its for??or bad for?? ..like mine i use 61mm block with 22/19 valve and high camshaft.. is that good to remove it for btter top speed at gear 4 or if we remove it gear 4 will drop??

just want to show my new mods for removing decompression pin assy.
if you use camshaft without decomp pin, you can try this mod.
theres a difference... you can rev much faster due to lesser weight on
camsprocket

Pardon my ignorance and lack of familiarity with this engine,
would have been a great help to me (and to some others)
if you could have shown us the steps you went through from when you

1) took the cam cover off (?),
2) alignment of camshaft to crankshaft with piston at top dead centre(?),
3) removal of decompression assy from camshaft/timing chain(?),
4) followed by the steps in your photos,
5) reinstall decompression plate onto camshaft n timing chain,
6) checking of cam alignment with crankshaft as the final.

like a 'Complete Idiots Guide to Decompression Pin Removal'.

For the inexperienced, it could be daunting.
One sprocket out of sync, the motor may not start.
I suppose pushing the bike to the local mechanic whose got a smile
on his face may help fix the problem!

I'll understand if it cannot be done this time. :wink:

what is your low Rpm when the motor start and warm ?

for me it is 1850 , because my ECU control this .
you said 1500-2000 . with a little gaz i have 4000 tr/mn .

Only difficult to start .

the steps can be followed using the service manual which can download.

no problem with rpm buck.
difficult to start since decompression pin is removed.
the purpse of decomp pin is to have easy start

any means to lighten the rotating parts will add power..

You will says because your camshaft was not drilled ?

You can drill them :

On the left one oem camshaft on the right side 4xstage 2 camshaft drilled
