competing with first timer in a track race, do you think its mature and responsible move?

@tarantao: paps nabasa ko sa UBP under SOC offtopic thread yung sequence ng usapan dun, hhmm I think we/you/us are trying to search the thread or post kung saan may nag invite para sa UBP cup ba? paki correct na lang po yung title ng event. Kasi yung naging issue is merong nag participate po na hindi member ng UBP? in short outsider ika nga, but we/you/us were trying locate that invitation here in yamahat135 para atleast may proof na nainvite and hindi masabi na NON member sya. So sana po bigyan po natin ng time magpaliwanag ang bawat isa. The sikuhan issue I think to follow na lang yan after ma settle natin yung issue about sa Member or Non member and with invitation and without invitation. Parang pangit kasi magkaroon ng lamat ang samahan ng UBP(soc) and yamahat135 which is alam naman natin na merong member doon (UBP-SOC) na member din dito, in which na yung mga members na yun e hindi nman basta basta mga member lang, puro professionals po lahat yan. So lets settle this down with tender loving and care.. Just give a little bit of time sa isat isa.

here's what i've got so far....

1. UBP CUP is supposed to be a race of club members... the issue on jamescore brother's status of being a member is in question as to the validity of his participation on the race...

answer : jamescore's brother is a registered member of this site (now if that's sufficient enough then the question is answered)

2. it was supposed to be a newbie race....

answer : wala pang comment dito ang kabilang side..

my own POV : a newbie status is relative.. sa shooting competitions (of which i am a regular participant), u can be a tyro (newbie) in competitions (even if u have been an active competitor for so long of a time) so long as there is no protest against you... and of course, if u have been a champ already on that area or that particular competition the last time it was held... in our motocross circuits too, so long as u have not been a champion of any division or category, u can race in a beginners class... the organizers have the final say on this.... they own the competition thus they should be responsible enough in determining who is and who is not a newbie... if a person was allowed to race in a newbie class... then he must be a newbie... the fact that u did not know him, then he must be a newbie coz if he was not.... u must have identified him and protested even before the race started... ryt?

3. nanggitgit and being the reason for a lady rider to crash

answer : no evidence
rebuttal : d na kelangan ng video kasi d naman lahat ng angles nakikita ng cameras...

my POV : just keep it clean guys... victory is sweet when ur clean... hehehe...

4. he was fast for a newbie (too fast even)

answer : praktisado

the point of being too fast for a newbie again is a grey area... maybe he was fast because he was full of practice and a veteran of trackdays... im no racer so ill bring my experience in shooting competition here... i had a parallel experience regarding this matter.... it's because i was trained hard by my cousin who was then the austral-asia champ that time even before i started joining competitions.... so when i first had my competition... naging easy na lang for me to beat the other neophytes (kasi nga nasanay akong ung austral-asia champ kalaro ko..) they said oh no... he is not a tyro (beginner/newbie) anymore with the way he shoots... but what can they do? im really a neophyte... though on the next competition.... i was not able to enter that category anymore... and yeah... im used to being the last in my class of shooters nowadays... it doesnt bother me though.. coz im just happy shooting whether i win or not...



my own conclusion ?

angkol tarantao... i know ur bitterness... kasi feeling mo naisahan nila ung race... its normal... nasa brother na yan ni jamescore if he truly is guilty with waht ur accusing him of or not... but look on the silver lining na lang.... the next time he races, at least u know his abilities.. if u feel he's overqualified for a particular class / division / category, then by all means post a protest... its ur right...

the bottomline is, sabi mo nga maganda ung pinaghirapan ung trophy.. what is more sweet by beating them masters, ryt?

yes paps, in every category may advance at hindi like sa newbie kung newbie ka may advance at hindi kasi nasa skills if he got the guts may edge ka. we practice harder improve every weakness at nagbunga and we not tolerate dirty tactics FIY lang mga paps our brothers well tell pano kami maglaro. kung ganun lang din ang magiging resulta at first di na sana kami pinalaro kasi FOR UBP MEMBERS lang pala dapat..

kung may reklamo ka TARANTAO magpakilala ka muna hindi yung babanat ka diyan ng popcorn. RESPECT is what we have here sa site hindi yung mga ganyang introduction. thanks

ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin ng "newbie" pag dating sa race?
eto po ba yung 1st time na sasalang sa isang race yung as in never pang naka join sa mga past events pero nakakapag practice na sa mga race tracks kasi iba yung practice lang at isang tunay na karera or yung racer na nakasali na dati at matagal ng kumakarera pero pag sumasali ulit sa mga karera eh as "newbie" parin kasi di pa kayang luminya s iba pang racer na nasa mas higher level na like "150 Open".

invitational race ba tong "UBP CUP"? or exclusive lang para sa mga members ng UBP mismo?

you were supposed to be disqualified sa awarding but ano ginawa nyo? you approached sir mark at pinabago ang name na naandun...parang sa pagkakaintindi ko..nagkamali ng lagay ng names dun sa list ng marshall dahil ilang beses pinatawag ang organizer ng CUP...so ano yun? paki paliwanag naman..expected ng mga members ng UBP disqualified ka kayo but since pinabago nyo...kaya matamis ang ngiti nyo...

sa newbie ek ek na yan...iba ang skills ng mga sumali sa ubp cup sa skills ng tarantao mong kapatid..kitang kita naman sa skills di ba? saka my God naman..hindi ba kayo nahiya sa mga kasabay nyo? 1st timer sa track pinatulan nyo? asan ang pagiging professional? or UHAW LANG KAYO SA TROPHY AT AWARD DAHIL WALA KAYONG MAIUUWI KUNG SAKALING MA DQ KAYO?

GAnyan din ako nung una ako sumali sa SONICBOOM newbie150cc last year septamber 19 2010 sa carmona..i am the only one na naka sniper na sumali at lahat ay puro raider na ang kalaban..masaya ako dahil para sakin Bitbit ko ang T135 kahit nakita ko na na yung mga kalaban ko eh magagaling at naka raider pa..kahit 1st time race ko yun nakuha ko ang 3rd..pero umakyat ako ng 1st place dahil na DQ sa srcut yung 1st and 2ndplacer na mga raider..DAPAT NGA DAMI KO PA REKLAMO SA SONICBOOM KASI HINYAAN NILA NA MAG 1ST PARIN AT 2ND YUNG MGA nakalaro ko kasi hindi patas lumaban kaya sila na DQ..NAISIP KO NALANG NA SA NEXTRACE DAPAT READY AKO KUMARERA DAHIL HINDI BIYAHE SA FAMY SINALIHAN KO...KARERA!! KAYA NAGTYAGA AKONG MAGPRAKTIS BEFORE THE RACE LAST SUNDAY...

MGA paps si danna hindi naman 1st timer yun..mas nauna pa nga sumali sa mga races yun kesa sakin..napanood ko lang din sya last yamaha gp FINAL LEG and si REDRICK kwento pa sakin nung pag sali nya sa yamaha gp..dapat nung una palang sinabi nyo na para sa 1st timer lang ang karerang yun..
pangatlong sali ko pa lang po yun sa race..kaya sa mga nag iisip ng masama tungkol sakin eh YAN para malaman nyo lang!!
dahil hindi po kami uhaw sa trophy...natural karera..my nanalo at my natatalo
