Rextor Ignition Problem

Help!

Problem with my Rextor RCDI. When I on the key the the led's light (green & red) and fan check (on for 2 sec) seems normal but when I kick to start the bike there's no ignition. I replace the Rextor with stock CDI then my bike start. Now, what's the problem with Rextor? There's no ignition.
Is this due to low voltage battery or it is already busted?

set the rextor CDI in normal mode., is the cdi brandnew, second hand and how long youve use the cdi. or test the CDI in other snipey.,

sir try to test it to other bike or first replace your battery. rextor has sensitive voltage drop but on mine this didn't happen even if my battery is low and i need to kick the starter kick it still start. check your voltage on the battery it might help.

It is already on normal mode since I installed it. I guess 2 years, I bought it brand new. Haven t tried it to other sniper, maybe soon.

clean the terminal of the CDI and test it again if it not solve the case better test it with other snipey.,

or check for the fuse and charge your battery

if u are using stock cdi without the fuse and try to kick start it.. it will start ,..

rextor cdi uses much power from the battery,.

my cdi (REXTOR) is getting busted,where my battery is remove from the terminal (+&-)
then start the mc,its start even the baterry is remove from the connection then i rev it,then rev again,,,and then after the engine dies,,,,
then off the switch then on,,one thing i noticed is the fan its not turning on,when i push the starter switch its never start the engine,to make the story short,
i put back the stock cdi,then i remember,the yellow with red line wire that i disconnect from the regulator,its the cause of the damage of my cdi,,because of the over voltage from the stator,i connect again the yellow wire then start, its ok the engine runs again (aray dugo na ilong ko)whats the lesson here???(gastos kaya?)

Yes its possible, over voltage can cause sensitive RCDI to bust. Specially RCDI with no overload protection.But this is a case to case basis incident. Unlike our stock CDI has a overload protection, BRT also has.

ano posible cause ng over voltage? bago masira yung kitti ko, napundi muna yung head light ko following day sumunod na si kitti, posible kayang over volts din ang naging cause?

may kinalaman ba ang taas ng kuryente sa idle? yung idle ko kasi ngayun parang naka rev ng konte kahit mag adjust pa ako

Now I used BRT Hyperband CDI and it's fine my snipy is running well. Im planning to change my 5yr old stock battery soon

I think my Rextor got busted due to low voltage. My bike decom assy is removed and it's hard to crank the engine to start with decom assy removed this is the cause why my battery also give way. By the way, how do i know my stator is not working?

2. defective stator also contributes to over voltage.
3. Fast charging plus modified engine (HIGH RPM). since mc's voltage is not already regulated.

regarding on kitti, i dont have any idea if this has a overload protection ckt like our stockCDI and BRT. just take note when we convert our charging system to fast charging plus engine modes for speed up, our CDI or aftermarket RCDI is very sensitive causeit has a memory (EEPROM) inside.

hmmm kung hindi naman ako naka HID o wala naman conversion na ginawa para sa fast charging, pwedeng yung stator ko ang may sira?

paps baka may idea ka sa nangyari sa sniper ko,
nung nasira yung kiti ko, hindi na bumalik yung tamang idle nya, before 1 1/2 turn ang a/f ko ngayun 1/2 turn nalang.
pag nag adjust ako ng ere, parang idle screw sya tumataas yung rpm. pero pag pinihit ko yung idle screw nag re response naman sya.
Yan ang problem ko ngayun yung idle ko prang naka pihit na ng konte yung throttle,stock coil ,stock SP at stock cdi S1 cam nalang ang natira ngayun. Na drain na rin pala yung battery ko gawa ng ka ka start nung tumirik ako. Naka sched ako mamayang 3pm kay GSD

bro, did u put grounding kit wire? if not, thats the cause, because over voltage in the battery(hindi matapon ang sobrang kuryente sa battery...)

hindi aabot ang 5v ang charging bro sa battery, use digital tester... idle is 13.5v ang sobra itapon sa chassis ir sa may engine, thats why if mag battery drive na tau at mag hid dpt may grounding wire.. correct me if im wrong.....

yes bro,but the only wire i cut is yellow with red line in regulator connection,the others are intact
