where is the grounding wire connected to?

You need a multitester to indicate wether ur stator is working normally or not. First disconnect the stator coil socket from the wire harness, then set the multitester to ohms x1 setting and connect the positive tester probe on the white wire and the negative tester probe on the black wire. Measure the charging coil resistance, it must be 0.38-0.58 ohms (on cold engine). If the reading is incorrect then ur stator is already dead hth=)ENGLISH
Now I used BRT Hyperband CDI and it's fine my snipy is running well. Im planning to change my 5yr old stock battery soon
I think my Rextor got busted due to low voltage. My bike decom assy is removed and it's hard to crank the engine to start with decom assy removed this is the cause why my battery also give way. By the way, how do i know my stator is not working?

mag nag sabi rin sa akin nito, na dapat may grounding pag nag kabit ng rcdi, paps pa explain naman kung paano ito? naka sama na ba ito sa mga rcdi?

nope bro, before we use rcdi like rextor , we must convert our snipey to battery drive, because rextor only uses power in the battery.. thats why we put grounding wire for the excess of power in the battery must be thrown out... ( ang ganda ng english ko. wahahahahahahaha)
and by the way no need to worry because yamaha brand mc's mabilis mag charge ng battery ang yamaha, it only depends on how to re-wire it

hmm even the stock cdi uses power in the battery coz its dc operated just like ur rextornope bro, before we use rcdi like rextor , we must convert our snipey to battery drive, because rextor only uses power in the battery.. thats why we put grounding wire for the excess of power in the battery must be thrown out... ( ang ganda ng english ko. wahahahahahahaha)

yup but it not uses much power, not like the rcdi rextor that we must convert battery drive our snipey...

bro kung andito ka. ako na ang maglagayi didn't installed grounding wire when i change my stock cdi to rextor. it's says plug and play so i go for that word. please share to us how to put a grounding wire and can you elaborate about battery drive

bsta condemn mo yung isang wire na sa stator(color black) sa may engine, wag mong putulin! separate mo lng.. at dun ka kukuha ng positive na kuryente sa flasher yung negative sa chassis...

-check your battery, racing cdi like rextor must have 12.3volts minimum so that it will work optimized and properly. Unlike stock cdi which will work even if your battery is 9v.
-check your cdi wiring connectors, remove all the terminals from its housing and clean it.
most probably there are some corrosion in your terminals.
I cleaned my connector after 4 years and my rextor is working perfectly again!
Lastly, always remember that our bike is Battery Driven. Meaning battery must be in good condition always so that our bike will run best

sa pagkakaalam ko useless dn ung sinasabi mong grounding kit kasi naka ground naman ung black wire ng harness sa frame ng mc eh. the reason why those rcdi sometimes fail or worst damage permanently is because of using faulty batteriesang problema hindi ako marunong magbasa nyan..

ikaw, na sayo lng yan eh.,.. naniguro lng me pra safe yung stator ko
hirap na magkalisodx2 separete mo lng yung isang wire sa stator,,, color black dun sa may engine... then let it wrAp a electrical tape, then kuha ka ng isang wire,, idirect mo sa wire yung postive sa flasher relay... then tap mo hi/low na wire switch.. grounding wire sa may negative and then dun mo ilagay sa may engine... for safety purposes lng... pra ang sobrang kuryente sa battery matapon nya.. walang kinalaman ang gorunding sa harness... pra sa HID lng yun... eto pra sa battery and stator pra safety... ok?
