@TS.. try different brand sir then observe mo po kung ano best sa bike mo but most important Engines are designed for a specific octane rating.. yung mga gasoline na high octane rating kasi is best for high-performance engine to gain more power.. parang sa engine oil may mga specifications for different type of engines...
hope it helps...;)

Sir @gie is right paps:) The higher the octane means easy combustion which means more engine response.:) But keep in mind, using high octane gasolines makes your engine a bit hotter.

I use extreme 97 exlusively. A lot cheaper than the big three. It may be hotter but don't worry. lc135 is liquid cooled. It will never over heat with just using higher octane fuel. One good thing on using this is better fuel consumption compared with others.

higher octane gasoline is for high compression engine. kung stock compression lang, using higher octane than the prescribed in the manual, wala rin gaanong effect.. same effect lang sya sa gasoline with low octane...

kung high compression ang engine, dun kaylangan ang higher octane gasoline..
dahil using low octane gasoline on a high compression engine will cause engine knocking..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_knocking

as per wikipedia...

"Octane rating or octane number is a standard measure of the performance of a motor or aviation fuel. The higher the octane number, the more compression the fuel can withstand before detonating (igniting). In broad terms, fuels with a higher octane rating are used in high performance petrol engines that require larger compression ratios..............Use of gasoline (also known as petrol) with lower octane numbers may lead to the problem of engine knocking."
