langis yan paps, galing sa hataw yung sniper ko ng nag plug reading ako nyan, pero pag normal na takbo, wala naman yug langis,

ano ba problem pag may langis? may nag sabi may fully synthetic daw ako para hindi umaakyat yug langis

update ko lang, mukhang nagugustuhan ko yung performance ng side gap ^_^ mukhang mas malakas ang bigay nya compare sa iridium

nakaside gapped po ung sp ko sir nung nag northloop kami. :) talagang maganda ung performance.. :) walang problema.

anyone tried side gapping an iridium type sp, cuz i just did it & by clumsyness i removed the tip.. so here i got a sp side gaped without the iridium tip, but i still installed it on the bike just to try if will it work & it works fine, the warm up of the engine is faster, im gona take it for a ride to see what happens

haha, di ko alam kay papa jeff if anu ibig sabihin nya. baka napasukan ng tubig ung loob.. :),kasi how come na mag rurust ang head dahil lang sa sp?.

As you can see the ground electrode is blocking the fuel expansion, you want it to hit the freshly entered fuel, not the exhaust side where some exhaust gases are still left over. Plus side gaping allows for the flame front to go down, thus helping it expand faster.

Tools
  • Sharpie
  • Dremel or something to cut metal with precisely
  • Spark Plug Gaping Tool

1. Remove your spark plugs from the engine or if they are brand new take them out.

2. Take a sharpie and mark the amount that you want to cut off.

3. Properly bolt down the spark plug so that you don't have to hold it by hand when you use the dremel.

4. Now Dremel sells cutting bits, you will need one of those, they cut through the ground electrode like butter


5.All done with the cutting

ung side-gapped SP ko sir eh almost 2 years ko ng ginagamit,, stock sp ung ginamit ko. :) pang daily use yan sir,hehe, napang long ride ko na rin,walang problema, it gives more power and fuel efficiency. :p -learn more go to the link i posted above, sa MCP yan sir. thanks po.:D
