HI and welcome to the board haxso.

I guess maybe, and I'm just guessing, not sure, maybe you can get a stronger battery. Mine is stronger since I got a 7amp maintenance free battery. Anybody else agree?

I thought they fitted an hid or halogen on the park lights.
how about the one with the LED?

Its an easy process to install. All you need are some led lights, wires and a place to stick em on the rim of the signal lights frame. They take piss all off of your battery power consumption, so you can install as many lights as you want. I have the similar installation on my Yamaha auto 115cc at home. 100 led lights to be exact are on my bike!

Have not modified the spark yet but I might install some on the rear fork, under the engine fairing, above the rear tire, under the radiator, behind the indicators and behind the front forks.

this is a very easy installation.
you dont need a large battery since LED lights are
consumes only very little power.

have you wondered why those chinese LED flashlights/keychains
are powered by ordinary battery and wrist watch battery.

LEDs are available at some motorcycle shops
and even in cigarete lighters.

LEDs maximum voltage is 5volts
while motorcycle have 12volts.

what you need is a resistor.
see diagram below

resistor ohms needed for 1 LED for 12volts probably around
430 ohms 1/4watt resistor (yellow violet brown gold color coding)

I live outside Bangkok about 170 kilometers away. I stay in the country side as it is nice and quiet, good for performing burnouts in fields and donuts :) You ever been to Thailand before quarantasei?

Haha the Mio I have is sick! You should see all the lights, but they aren't that great a quality so I'm gonna be customize all the lights on the automatic. I don't know about my spark, what should I do...hmmm :D

isit becoz of safety reasons to install the LED (make oneself brighter on the road)..
or just for the fun of it??

For me its for 2 reasons:

1) Safety on roads as other drivers can see you a mile away and...

2) (may apply only to me) Good for stunting, wheelies, stoppies, burnouts...but not overdoing the whole LED scene, just install a few like on the air valve caps and under carriage.

Hello, im new here, I just want to ask for instructions on how to do this type of mods:

http://www.yamahat135.com/links/ervin-- ... custom-on/
Are the LED lights behind the signal light?

Another mod is this

How can I make a peanut bulb to light that bright?
hi there..i've just registered here and saw LED mod was on discussion.
I used 10 leds on each side, it has two model, when on normal mode it will turn on all the 20 LEDS, but when one sign lamp turn to on the LED will do a knight rider style, only on the side where the sign lamp was turned ON..
And yes, it's true that i've placed the all the LED on the rim of signal lamp frame.

But i all ready replace all the LED with NEONWIRE/GLOW WIRE so i can get the shape effect of the signal light frame..

it's nice to see u in this forum..
really interested on your 'modification'
Well thank you very much medichloreans, i have no experience at all on doing some modification on the machine so i prefer on the lighting for change .. anyway i like on my last modification with neon wire, it looks neater than before ... and i can get the real shape of the signal lamp frame
I've place a some LED too near the machine with red LED so i can have the red hot effect of the machine..it's look fantastic (to me :D )

It's LED wire!The price is cheap in VietNam.Only 2-3$ / m!

NeonWire/glow wire still more flexible compare to LED, you can bend it and make any kind of shape as you like, and it only cosume you 0.8watt .. i put it inside the signal lamp frame and let the reflektor do the job to glow the light from the neonwire

LED wire mean a plastic wire( D 2-3mm) with a LED at the head, when the LED is on, the light will glow through the wire. You can curve the wire to many shape easily, it You use neonlight, you must have a special machine to heat the neon bulb before curve.

when i was in the states and i had my car, way back when i was a teen, i had the neon wire. it didn't require anything special like a machine. it's just plug and play. it's just like an LED, but it glows like a neon. but it's really not a neon.

a neonwire comes along with an inverter that change form DC source to AC for the neon. And it's glowing not only from the the head, but glow from all the surface..well it's a neon anyway but more flexible to shape.

so i think it's a diferent lighting source that we're talking about..the LEDwire that you're talking maybe it made from a fiber optic
