Stage 1 Engine Upgrade Please Help..newbie Here

hi good day to all. i just bought a sniper mx 2months ago and im planning to modify the engine or something you called "upgrading".. so what's the very 1st step i have to do? or what parts do i need to upgrade just to increase its power and have a better performance.
Please share some ideas of the brand and sizes of the parts. Thank you. appreciate your help

i think this will parts will satisfied your stage 1.
1. racing cdi
2. stiffer valve springs
3. clutch springs
4. 26mm carb
5. pnp of your cylinder head

when u say PNP, how much larger in mm is sufficient? is it for both intake and exhaust? thanks

change your cdi,,for stage 1 mod...
follow by cam and valve spring...good luck!

The correct step after changing cdi would be to rejet or change the carburetor altogether. Which is what i'm doing now, waiting to put replace the BS25 (diaphram slide) with a Vm22(round slide) and hopefully rejet it. Since the mech dont do PNP i'm sourcing on the internet for information regarding typical PNP.
