thanks bro..Goodluck for your break in.
yup, it is water cooled.Sir docgabby is this 64mm steel bore that made buy hi speed still have a water cooled system?
yes it is , i had the set up for 3 years now, more than 6k kms mileage.. 64mm bore plus 3mm offset crankshaft all made by hispeed (a displacement of about 210cc). just make sure it doesnot over heat. thats why i installed a larger radiator and fan from a cbr150.doc gabby, is a s teel bore also good for daily use??and long travel??
thanks.wow! thats a great modification you got there bro docgabby. wew! how nice.![]()
my displacement up kit was an old design that hispeed used in the sepang circuit they raced in and won few years back. they now offer a better kit with chrome bore. check out their website. for sure there are alot of kits available out there. LC135 has already been out in the market for a few years, for sure the development of racing parts now are better than few years ago. so its a matter of personal choice and proper installation and meticulous maintenance. bigger engines vibrate more, wear faster than stock. so dont compare their longevity or reliability to a stock engine. i decided to go big displacment because i weigh 205lbs ( heavy) so i need the torque. how fast does it go? dont know never tried topping it out. it still is an underbone and not a bigbike.doc.. u r selling hi-speed bore up kit?? wat size of bore shud i use for 150cc set-up on sniper??
is there 60mm hi-speed brand??
the pipe that i used was a endurance brand pipe that came with the kit i bought. not familiar with ahm. as long as it is not for the stock engine, then any branded pipe will do.FAito 60mm
mileage: 2k ++
average speed vary from 80~100km/h...
@ DOC..
wat pipe you use for that displacement? is AHM still ok since I am planning to upgrade to Faito 3.5 Crank..
my daily driver, not much mods externally. i installed a larger radiator from a cbr150. i you take close look at the block, build up has been made in order to give more area for the coolant around the bore. it has a 28mm oval carb, but i think the engine would want at least a 30 to 32mm carb to give it more power (decided to stick with the 28mm carb for less gas consumption. the cams are hispeed 6.2. if i had a custom grind cams by campro, more power can be made. it has a hydraulic clutch that i bought from traxxas. its a three year old engine that still works fine. i think my bike needs a make over..DOC GAB CAN U POST SOME PICS OF UR BIKE..

ah i see ur pipe doc.. elbow seems fit for 200cc++ ..the pipe that i used was a endurance brand pipe that came with the kit i bought. not familiar with ahm. as long as it is not for the stock engine, then any branded pipe will do.

DOC is it hard cranking a 210cc engine?
i have 200cc for my yamaha scooter but its ok because i have change to a bigger starter motor. wondering for LC135

at first it was hard. since i had to remove the compression release from the cam gear, sometimes it would kick back. i am now used to it so my right foot is used to the force necessary to crank it over.ah i see ur pipe doc.. elbow seems fit for 200cc++ ..
