T135 Compression ratio compared to V-Ixion, YZF-15 and 125.

yes hass, thats with vixion block, good thing the oil doesnt get hot.. maybe due to cold environmental temp, while us here could reach 35 - 40 celcius degree..

In my aréa we can have 35° in the summer but not long time .
We have in average beetween 20 and 30° in summer.

shave is 0.8 mm for stock valves, 1 mm generates too much heat..

for R125 block, you can try shaving off 0.5mm
as a start for r125 stock block.

You says shaved off from the cylinder but the problem is with all motors there is differences beetween the machining from them .
That can be better if we speak from the measure from the high from the piston to the cylinder .
Example :
My oem r125 block goes to the same high than the cylinder .
My vixion piston goes 0.35mm lowest than the high from my cylinder .

If I shaved 0.5mm from my oem r125 block I gone crash them (collision) , if i take off the lower gasket from the vixion block my piston goes 0.05mm higher than the cylinder .

I want to test my vixion block with the piston on the same high than the cylinder .
Thickness from the head gasket for information = 0.4mm

i havent tinker with the r125 engine yet..
im still waiting to destory my stock T135 engine.

i have a friend who removed base gasket and using same cams like you
and valves collides a little bit with piston, but he used a 0.10 and 0.08 valve clearance, that might be the reason...

Here, we prevent the piston from colliding with the valves by making 4 slight cauldron or "valve head shaped" indentation on the piston surfaces. My 60mm big bore block, had been shaved like, 0.2-0.5mm, not sure, and using extra thin gasket too. Above is what my mechanic did. The result, compression so strong that its really pain in the ass to the kick-start the bike in the morning T_T

These are re-branded high speed pistons. Good stuff. Not recommended for road use as they're single ring items.
