agree with traxxas here...

should also consider engine power when changing sprockets
a too low ratio for top speed might get too low for the engine power to drive the bike.. so all you get in 4th gear is deceleration instead of going faster...

as in my experience...15/40 is faster than 15/39 on our engine...coz with the 15/40...its decreases the engine load on 4th gear, and utilizes more of its power...but still, just like with scooters using roller weights...one combination for one bike may not work for other bike of the same model...its up to the owner to find out whats the best combination for his bike, patience is all you need
can anyone tell me where to buy here in the philippines a 40t sprocket, i am here in tondo manila.

if someone is willing to sell me 40t sprocket for my t135, just let me know the price.

40T sprocket bro is i think not hard to find.., just ask for Yamaha RS100 sprocket... with your tire combination, 15/40 sprocket is appropriate.., just like mine.... I like 16/42 with my stock tire.

I tried 15/42. the result was better acceleration but lower top speed. you can feel the engine is at the limit but your slower than before. got back to the stock size.

yes bro thats because 15/42 is way too LOW speed on stock tire.
42/15 = 2.8

that means you need to pedal your bicycle 2.8times to make i full wheel turn, Unlike the stock gear ratio where you need to pedal only 2.6times to make 1 full wheel revolution

bro try these two combinations

16 41 = 2.56
16 42 = 2.63

that combination is the most nearest possible combi from stock.
then tell us which one works best

I dont know, but I used 15/42 with 80/80F and 100/80R and my speed somehow decreased in the end. you can feel that your engine is reving too much but the bike is slightly slower than stock.

i have the 428H DID chain which is really big. i didn't think it was going to fit with the 16 tooth, but it did with just a little room left to spare.
