guys...my snipee has this very unsual sound every time i ride...its not in the chain part but its very likely inside the engine,i guess.....it sounds like a pipe being grined every time i release the clutch.....and not only that.....i hear a bit sound like...'.whoooossssh' and i cant figure it out wether its inside the engine or not....im not sure either if its related with my pipe.......that all started wen iv used motul synthetic oil.....is there any of u hus bin xperiencing the same thing as i do now?.......a tiny whooooossssh sound wid a pipe being grinded.......i ask the yamaha bout it but the mechanic said that he cant find or hear anything wrong........some ses that its normal to hear such things after break in period but i find it very iritating............anyone?

not at all paps but i just wana make sure that things inside the engine are ok............this wierd sounds im hearing every time i ride makes me paranoid thinking that maybe thers smthing wrong.......marcusfilter said:

@fc, did you check the fairings of your snippe, check the decals, the strange sounds might be coming from them

yeah i also encountered the same problem, what i did was , i full tank my sniper and lessen the air of my tyre and then eat plenty at PARES retiro , then the problem was gone,
im not hungry anymore

yah but the carabao already jump over the fence to eat grass at the bukid and no more pares to eat at the pares or turo turo...u know point point....hehe

I think its your muffler pad(carbon fiber) in the exhaust. It depends on what pipe you are using. it can also be the fairings on the tail part. the small fairing that joints the left and right rear fairings just on top of the tail light. It vibrates as you release the throttle. does it create a gzzzzzz sound upon releasing the throttle? hope this can help.

sir cj have tried my sniper yesterday and he said he cant hear anything rong inside my engine.perhaps its related to my snipers fairings wen it vibrate.....i dnt know but maybe il ask another opinion...just to really make sure things are fine with my ride........thanks for the replies guys......
