Tail Light Keeps Getting Busted

ever since my stock tail light bulb went out, i keep on replacing the replacement bulb i purchase.

what could be the issue?

all my bulbs are stock and have never added any modifications

Is replacement bulb OEM part from yamaha? If yes then check you rectifier, it should be able to hold the voltage at 13.3 volts ac even at high RPM.

it turned out there was a bare wire. the bulb melted the insides of the tail light assembly. sayang yung x1r tail light, haayzzz

i replaced the assembly with my stock tail light assembly and now all is well.
