this set up is good for stock?coz wen my bike get to 90-100 kph, i observed that the gas/fuel get easily empty, like fast to intake fuel..so maybe i'll try this set up today to my bike..but if you adjust the air screw no need to adjust the idle paps?

What is the maximum out position of the stock mikuni carb for sniper?
according to my reference not more than 3 and not less than to our stock position which is 1 5/8, if the air screw is opened over 3 turn the spring will not work andair screw can can come off during operation of the vehicle heres the graph shows you the fuel flow curve in relation to the opening of the air screwfuel flow chart.png

Anybody knows the stock setting of air/ fuel for sniper mx. I've noticed for BS26 Carb for MX, turning clock wise is lean, turning counter clockwise is rich. I've tried 5 turns counter clock wise and the pick up significantly improved but fuel consumption was compromised. By the way in using K&N Air filter and have modified the air box cover by removing the rubber snorkel.

Anybody have tried turing the AF screw of their MX up to 4 to 5 counter clockwise turn? Give it and try and let me know your results.

sir im also using k and n air filter which is high flow, as far as i know high flow high intake of air to your carb so meaning too much air will enter to your carb try to reset your carb by turning clockwise when its fully closed try to turn 2 counter clockwise 4 or 5 counter clockwise from fully closed thats too much open bro the maximum to all carb are not lower than 1 1/2 and not more than 3 conterclock wise so you choose 1 1/2 to 3, be caution when you fully closed your air screw if your screw does not turning meaning thats fully closed dont force it, it will loosen the thread... goodluck bro hope will help

you can adjust your idle according to your preference what important is the air screw do not turn more than 3 and not below 1 or to our stock settings which is 1 5/8..

there are many factors why your gas consumption is too high

Yes, I've tried that already. But I think thats the setting for the VM 22. For VM 22, turning clockwise is for richer mixture and the other ways is lean. For BS26, its the other way around. Kaya, I've noticed that when my setting is on between 2 and 3, its has hesitation in the early opening of the accelerator.

Bro, can you give it a try, the 4 to 5 counter clock wise on your MX and let me know how this works on your bike,

that's for all size of carb bro, i tried that already the result is too rich, and my fuel consumption is too high and my spark plug full of carbon i stock my settings for 2 1/8 right now im still using that setting my gas consumption not to high smooth response even in my idle speed is not dropping down.. and my spark plug i checked its like yellow brown so meaning the setting is correct
