yes we are using it for racing here...most of all the racers do...but now FDR is more popular among racers coz its way more affordable than bridgestone...

is FDR as good as the battlax? i mean, in terms of grip and performance? or is it just the next best thing to battlax and its affordable?

the next best thing to battlax and its affordable...
i never tried any of these before..but we all know that the money wont lie..
...price = Quality..:D lower price = lower quality...ahahahaha
theres also the brand image factor that determines the price tag too..you know? :D

yeah, like the bridgestone, i think what you're paying is actualy the brand image rather than the tyre itself.. coz i mean, bridgestone makes car tyres and race bike tyres.. it doesn't take much afford and research for them to actualy produce tyres for our bikes... right?

I was looking everywhere for dunlops 110/80 for the rear but instead ended up with a brand called EXCELLA. Anybody heard of it? Its good but nothing compared to IRC and Dunlop.

haven't heard it before...the only tyres manufacturers that i'm familiar with are:
dunlops, bridgestones, michellines, pirelli, nangkang, falken.. well, that's both for cars, and some for bikes.. hehehe so don't go ask me if there are nangkang / falken tyres for our bikes... ahhahha

Thailand has a new edition to tires...DUNLOP MAX GRIP! Except they don't have them in big sizes for our bikes, only thin drag style. Soft racing compound and general purpose road riding semi soft-hard compound for that extra track racing feel when going into sharp turns.

Well it is definitely one among the best compound with very good grip.
Its price simply high for daily riding and short mileage makes it negligible for us with limited fund  .

hi guys,

my rear tire is about to be replaced.
i want to buy MICHELLIN tire because i have
very good experience with it (car tire)
long life and very good tire.
i think michelin is more lighter than other known brands dunlop/bridgestone.

im planning to buy 110/80 or 100/80 for rear
anyone know what michelin model is available for that size?
