Same problem here paps nka cms cams ako pag binirit ko parang nabibilaukan ung motor mga sir. Kahit ano tono sa ere di namin makuha. Naka hispeed valve spring ako mga sir. Help sana

just sharing my experience sir.

one time while breaking in my new bore kit. running 80-90kph, bigla nalang nawalan ng torque ang engine.. maximum speed is 40kph, higher than that the exhaust pipe will sound like it was drinking water (glok glok glok) and my 40kph speed will decrease. my set-up then is 61mm bore, uma cams, namban pipe, stock cdi and stock valve springs.. hindi kaya valve float ang nangyari mga sir. pinatingin ko kaagad sa mechanic noon, ang ginawa ng mechanic, while in neutral gear nirev nya ang engine hangang umiyak ang makina. tapos niroad test nya, tumakbo naman ng maayos, sabi nya baka my nabend na valve, pero ng buksan wala namang damage. now nagpalit na ako ng rcdi and valve springs., up to now hinde na naulet yon.. hangang ngayon hindi ko parin alam kung ano reason kung bakit nangyari ang ganun. ang suspect ko is valve float., comment naman kayo sir kung ano possible reason, baka makatulong and maiwasan na mangyari sa iba.. thanks in advance...

ask ko lang sir yung pagbukas po ba ng makina nagpalit po ba sila ng valve mismo? kung hindi. nandiyan na po ang kasagutan sa nakita na nila nagpalit lang po ng rcdi and valve spring so meaning po ayun po ang problema yung cdi and valve spring,, for me sir tingin ko hindi siya tukod stress lang po yung valvespring nila kasi po naka cams na po sila eh hindi na po appropriate yung stock valve spring nila sa cams.... masyado magaan ang stock kaysa sa racing valve spring imho lang po

yes sir. malamang dahil sa stock valve spring nga. ngayong nagpalit na ako ng stiffer spring. kayang kaya na ang higher rpm. kung minsan umaabot pa ng 80kph ang 2nd gear on stock sprocket, sayang lang hinde ko napapansin ang rpm. hehehe.. tamang jettings nalang ang kulang sabi sa akin ng mechanic, pumuputok parin kasi, lalo na kung nagbawas ng gear nd gagamit ng engine break. hehe..

update on my mc. i have a good throttle response and no backfire, big thanks to my friend mechanic, he increased the size of jettings using a needle type gauges, dont know the name of the tool, its like a feeler gauge. changed sprocket size to 14-40 from 15-39.

Still break in? I suggest soft break-in..

your cdi something problem if your snipee is already tune up and set up

Same prob with UMA cam and 150 kit with fuel injection, not enough fuel to match lift, which is not real big, and certainly no where near enough to match the long duration. Used daytona ECU and the speedsparks dyno piggyback and still not enough ... ummm long story.

Yes. The block is okay. I'm using it for 14 months now. I'm using it for long drive. San fernando la union to pagudpud ilocos norte, approximately 320 km.
