Valve Pocket On 61mm Cmr Bore.

hello sir. do I need to valve pocket my piston on a 61 cmr bore kit, uma cams and mtrt valve springs. thanks in advance..

Pwedeng hindi na, but better make valve pocket to be safe. Stiff valve spring to be sure.

thanks sir.. cge magpavalve pocket nalang para safe. do you have an idea on the maximum rpm to prevent valve damage or "tumukod na valve"?. habang hindi ko pa naipapavalve pocket sir.

Yeah! Sniping_area is right. Correct valve clearance on cam lift and stiff valve spring will do the job to prevent valve float.

Nasa valve spring po ang sagot dyan. Stock valve spring will float easily at 9,000rpm. Change valve springs to CMS or other comparable brands in the market. Most racing V.springs can withstand 12,000rpm.

thanks sir sniping_area and sir paladin for the suggestions. im using mtrt valve spring, owkei na pala set-up.. no worries na pala sa valve float. installed rpm gauge to monitor my engines reaction during high rpm, vibration, sound, etc... this is my 1st motor kaya curious ako.. hehe... thanks ule mga sir...
