Masters! Pls tell us what stage of camshaft if we need to do the valve pocket? What is valve pocket anyway?

trial answer sir.... valve pocket is the "hukay" on top of your piston.. too much pocket will result in decrease in compression.. so dont make the pockets too deep.. if you are going to install racing cam also install racing valve springs.. and check valve clearance.. valve pocketing is used frequently if you are using 1.5 stoker pin without spacer gasket and if the "LIFT" of your cam is very high!!!.... only experts can do this like EARTH MECHANIX in baliuag bulacan...and some re knowned mechanics
