Vixion Problem

i am very familliar with vixion block... you got a very fast stock sniper... 150 - 160kph... with my sniper i can only top it along 130 - 140 without docking at all... and my weight is 96 kilos...


some of my friends got a vixion block...they can reach even 170kph...

one of the vids that can prove that a vixion block can run as 170 is this...

the blue x1r got a vixion block installed... we nicknamed him as boy atang... the vixion 170 topper...

and his mechanic is @kimredbull i really wonder why your friends vixion setup cant run 140kph more...

is this on stock tires sir? my vixion can only top at 110 kph 100/80 90/80 tires.

i think @TETANUS or boy atang is using 80/80 front and 90/80 rear tires... we cant barely overtook him...

got a vixion kit in my classic sniper too. stock valves, r. valve springs, stock cdi , stock 22 m.m. carb, stock muffler but with headers. topped out at 120 kph but only coz of lack of a good stretch of road. it was still accelerating but i had to ease off to brake for a pedestrian crossing. 14-38 sprocket combi, 80/80 front and 90/80 rear FDR tires. have yet to install my low cam advanced and see what improvement it will do.

no sir... it reach the speed in gps in 150kph... kph in speedometer is way different in kph in gps...

TS is talking about plug and play vixion without tweaks. does it really goes to 17okph when simply plug and play? because most of fellow beginner forumers like me thought that simply installing a vixion kit will boost speed automatically up to 160kph. which is a big no. Stock bore runs faster than vixion when plug and play without tweaks

I have the same problem. Seems like there's no change from stock bore to vixion bore. Though I've set up my bike to be usable for daily riding, it still seem too slow for the set up. Will try bigger pipe and test the top speed.

installing a vixion kit will add power to your bike but.........DONT EXPECT TOO MUCH POWER !



it is not a guarantee that you will attain your desired speed by just putting 1 part, modding is like a puzzle, if one piece is missing, you will not appreciate the whole image., right?

heres the way i mod my bike:

1.)buy racing part
2.)install racing part
3.)run my bike
4.)compare results
5.) if good keep racing part, if not satisfied sell it.
6.)buy again new racing part.

i agree with you sir... i currently installed 57mm bore, rcdi, hardened valve spring, rcam, clutch spring, head and exhaust port. i dont feel big difference from stock set of my sniper mx.
