What lubricant oil do you use?

It's a little bit harder to find Silkolene in Indonesia :( BTW, looks like only both of us write to each other in this lonely forum hehehehe Hope will be crowded soon :p Can't wait that time :D

I use the ff

0-32km = Factory stock yamaha oil
33-100km = Yamaha lube
100-250km = Shell Advanced SX
250 - 500km = REPSOL Moto 4T 20w-50
500-1000km = REPSOL Moto 4T 20w-50

my next changed oil will be 1750km :)

oil companies are very happy with me :)

Well looks like you're rich enought to change your oil oftenly, oil companies will be very happy surely :D If I change my oil as often as you do, it means I change it every 1-2 weeks :D Because I travel 50 km (average) a day :D

I've used Castrol power 1 4T SAE 20W50. I think it is good for long distance riding.
Dear all, can i know the stock engine oil for LC135. Its has good smells doh...

Here, the stock lubricant is Yamalube 20w-40.. Castrol P1 is good, but too bad, there are so many fake CP1 here :(, other brands that have many fake brothers is Repsol

Huh, Indonesia *sigh*

Frozen Fire..
it's happen not only in Indonesia..
Malaysia also having a same prob..

They are using recycle oil and packing it to a new bottle...
Shell Advance n Motul are the brand that they usually recycled it...

We can prevent it by destroying/damaging oil bottle before dump it, because most of faking methode is using used bottle that collected from trash.
That's why I always try to find official dealer first before buying oil. Shell&Petronas oil can be taken from their gas station, but others' dealer are hard to find :( Especially like Fuchs, Conoco etc.

yup..
always buying it from a dealer...

but if u buy from petrol station (in msia)..
especially Shell...
price differ is guite a lot if compared whey u buying it on a sparepart shops..

been using this brand and grade for my previous and current bikes and still is a big fan of it.

it's easy to start in the morning and won't get too hot easily.
well.. thats at least wat i've experienced.

:)

MOTUL!

Add ME to our forum list now. Well I had posted on another thread about motor oil, but did not see this thread yet, now I know. Anyway, in Thailand I usually stick to the factory Yamalube from Yamaha. Is that good for hot tropical country like this or not?

I use repsol, motul is a bit expensive here. By the way, anyone of you using fully synthetic, I heard here it is not advisible? PLus do you change your oil filters each time you change oil? Here is hard to find oil filter for T135 and if you happen to find one it cost almost USD 20.
