you need to have a big cylinder block and head made to 68 bore size piston. with out water cooling.

without water colling?..wow a bit extreme isn't it?..68 bore?..
how much cc then my bike would be?..300cc?..

so..here's the story..
a friend of mine offers me 200 bucks to get my bike all suit up for a 1000bucks purse illegal drag racing next month...and we got about a month to prepare the bike...at first i said no to him...but facing the fact that i'm this close of being broke...no income yet..it makes me think again..200bucks can make me survive at least for two months..not to mention my girl is asking me to help her pay her house monthly installment coz she's in a bit on finnancial problems also..and her parents got divorce about a month ago...if she doesn't make this month payment it's gonna be a major problem for her..in the end its probably gonna be a problem for me too...so guys i dont know where to ask for help..maybe this would be a chance for me to outcome all my problems...i know its a gamble and i know its isn't exactly right either..so help me on this guys..
help me make my bike cross the finish line first and win that 1000bucks..
thx :)

a quarter mile in 9 seconds
tat is seriously fast bro

68mm ain't gonna cut it, not even close
u r gonna nid a R1

and u still expect a dragbike to retain the radiator system
most often or not, it will be removed
no nid additional cooling system when ur bike lives by a quarter mile at a time onli
yeaaahhh, get a R1 and remove the chunky radiators

is it correct 9 secs max at 201 meters or at quarter mile? if 9 secs at 200 meters that's around 18 secs at quarter mile. Its possible, but 9 secs in quarter that is imposible.

1 mile is 1609.34 meters so a quarter mile is 402.34 meters. SO for rooster if he can run 16 secs in 400meters he can do that.

Rooster I suggest go for CDI, cam, 28mm carb, dbs pipe and a lot of tuning. Plus front tire 45/90 tire and rear 50/90 on alloy rims. Sprocket try 39 to 36 variations.

If that is not enough add 58mm bore with flat head piston and tuning. It can break the 16s easily.

The most important part is tuning.

Make sure you lighten the bike by removing fairings, gas tank (use soda bottle), alloy swing arm.

yer rite dude its 201 not 402..n why dbs pipes?...how bout other brand? TDR?..

about carb MIKUNI or KEIHIN?...any certain type that i should consider?
round (barell) or square carb?

yeah i know tuning is gonna be a major challenge..

cant remove the fairing though coz that'll make my rival knows whats under my hood...and thats a no for me

and how about front sprocket?...
thx a lot dude...

Bro,

The brand that I mentioned are the once I have experience with. TDR here are expensive so I opted to use DBS. But during drag we remove the end can just the pipe what we called "scab" and tune the carb to that setting.

Keihin jets can is easy to find here, a toyota carb jet can fit easily on keihin. But for mikuni yah you can buy them but expensive so we resort to drill the stock jet. I used round slide, but as stroker said flat slides are sensitive but it gives an annoying clater at idling.

Usually what we do is we tune first the rear sprocket if that is ok we then fine tune the front sprocket. I drag bike we have has 26 for the rear and 16 front and yet the bike jumps up to 2nd.

Well Good luck in case you need my two cents just howler. Cheers!

so how glowplug use those big bore dude
Why not... as for the piston its hard to find same specs as the LC, there are other pistons but needs to do some mods on the block so better just get the big bore block that why you still have the stock block in cae you want to go back to stock rather than reboring your existin gblock.

Rooster, yah I hoping that it will be released in the Philippines also. but if not we can always do mods.
